Percy: Backstory.
Percy and Artemis are twin brothers bc I said so. Talia and Artemis Sr. had a great night with one Poseidon and because godly biology is weird af, only Percy was a son of Poseidon (Despite the fact that they are identical twins; they both are sons of Artemis Sr. Percy just has three bio parents)
Talia, not wanting to see both her sons grow up like she did (Cause she ain’t blind, and she wants one of her sons to have the chance of not dying while serving her father) sends Artie Jr. to live with his dad, while she told her father that Percy was a son of Poseidon and that maybe it would affect how the pits worked on him. (It did but more on that later.) So, Percy knew of his twin brother, and has met him a few times, but they never really got a chance to get to know each other. When Percy was eight, he decided he had enough and ran away. He tried to get his younger brothers (Damian and Danyal) to join him, but they were brainwashed by the league and decided to stay. Percy still set up ways for them to leave if they wanted.
Percy stowed away on a cargo ship, leaving the League behind and reaching New York easily enough. Once in New York, Poseidon guided Percy to Sally, who adopted him and tried to give him a new life.
Much after that remains the same, but Percy looks at Nico and is reminded of Damian, the stabby boy he left behind.
After the events in HoO, Percy and Annabeth began arguing because Percy has major trust issues ingrained in him from the league, and Annabeth hates not being told things, so they eventually broke up. They have since made up and are friends again, but they don’t want to try dating again, because Percy’s trust issues make it so he can’t trust that Annabeth won’t leave him again when things get difficult, and Annabeth thinks that he wasn’t invested enough in their relationship (Despite going into FUCKING TARTURUS for her.)
Artemis: Backstory
His story remains the same, except Angeline Fowl is his step mom, not his Bio mom, and his Bio mom is Talia Al Ghul
Danyal: Backstory
Danyal (Danny) is Damian’s twin brother. He and Damian are 4 years younger than Percy and Artemis. Percy, when trying to escape the league, attempted to bring his brothers with him, but they refused. Danny, later, was in the America’s on a failed mission, and overheard that the handlers were ordered to kill him and to dispose of his body so that his mother wouldn’t attempt to revive him. After overhearing this, Danny ran away and, taking a page from Percy’s book, got adopted into a family that wouldn’t ask questions. His story remains the same since. He ran away when he was 11. The handlers reported that he was dead, fearing the retribution of Ra’s.
Damian: Backstory
Damian is much the same, except when Danny “died”, he was ordered to never speak of him again, because god forbid someone allow this kid to mourn. When he went to Bruce, he assumed this rule was the same for a long while until someone died and people continued to mention them, to mourn them. Damian being Damian refused to admit that he was confused as to why people were doing that, and when he finally understood, he didn’t want to admit that the didn’t in the beginning and so he just never told the Batfam about his twin brother, or that Bruce had another son that Talia never told him about.
The story takes place during Bruce Quest.
