Gifting pieces of my heart at 1:03AM

Summary:

Sanghyeok unfortunately doesn't really fit in highschool.

He's an emotionally reserved 19-year-old standing at 5'7, who just wants to live a quiet life. Luckily a little pawn shop, Kim Woonhak and one anonymous corner of the internet help him see that life isn't all that miserable.

At school, Sanghyeok barely lets out a word. Online, he has plenty to say.

Notes:

haii ;) my first ever fic, bnd quite literally changed my life for the better and Onedoors are quite literally the the chillest fandom out there. I knew I had to contribute somehow.

Also, I didn't really use fancy words here ( cuz English is my third language and I'm an illiterate :))))) ) and don't expect this to be one of those jaw dropping, absolutely life changing pieces of literature type of first fic. This is one is just a normal first fic, but I do think it's good enough to post.

Chapter 1: It's only from afar

Summary:

Meet Sanghyeok and his "miserable" life.

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

"Smile even if your heart bleeds."

‎A saying Sanghyeok almost religiously lived by. It was engraved into his soul , etched onto every single fibre and muscle of his body to never let his emotions and fears become someone else's burden. For him, it's next to a sin. There's no real reason to why he does it, it just feels as if his existence will become a nuisance the moment he feigns annoyance or ignorance.

‎This isn't to say he's depressed. He doesn't want to erase himself from the face of earth and he does have people that cherish him. He has his loving parents and a (optionally) caring friend. It's just sometimes he doesn't really have the energy to see the new daylight. He'd rather spend a day locked in his room, away from judging eyes, and try to figure out his shit on his own. Isn't that how real men dealt with it !?

                              ୨ৎ ⋆˚✿˖°

‎Sanghyeok, for lack of better words, hated school. A mass of hormonal beasts stuffed in a single building, he'd rather pass. Not to mention all the students basically crucify him with their eyes— just because he took a two year gap. Whenever he walks through those damn hallways, their eyes basically scream ‘Who forced this 50 year old uncle here’- the forced part isn't wrong but come on! He's only 19.

It was simple prejudice, Jaehyun was the same age as him and he was the highschool heart throb.

However, Jaehyun had something Sanghyeok unfortunately failed to pick up during his upbringing.

Charm.

The boy had a connection with everyone— including the fucking teachers. The guys wanted to be him and the girls wanted to date him. Whenever he talked, honey would drip out of each syllable, it didn’t sound practiced…just natural. He could talk to a random mailman as if they were childhood friends.

He didn't just have that K-drama lead male personality, the boy also had the looks.
Luscious black hair, soft features and healthy proportions, he wasn't Hollywood handsome, but effortlessly put together and approachable.

‎And then there was Sanghyeok, who just had a small high pitched voice and thick square black glasses to support his case. He also had obnoxious orange hair— which was slowly turning brown with all the dirt and grime that had collected over the past year. ( Don't ask him why he got it , he was eighteen, miserable and someone, bless that guy's soul, ‘advised’ to dye his hair for a new look)

Sanghyeok wasn't tall nor did he have a build, he was a short scrawny guy– and he was reminded of this fucking fact every day. The hushed sneers and whispers would start as soon as he would get up from his desk. Middle school was especially hell because every boy had reached 5’9 and he was over here praying for a miracle.

To sum it up, Sanghyeok was the type of guy you wouldn't talk to without a reason . While Jaehyun naturally attracted people without any reason.
(Did he mention Sanghyeok painted his nails while Jaehyun was the star football captain !? Yeah, That basically summarizes their social dignity.)

‎The only thing similar about them was that they were childhood best friends— as self proclaimed by Jaehyun.

‎"Hey, what're you up to sweetheart?" the self proclaimed bestie voiced up, pulling Sanghyeok out of his internal monologue.

‎He sighed. "Nothing and please stop calling me that."

‎Jaehyun placed his arms on the school desk in his usual exaggerated Jaehyun style and leaned forward, so that his face was only 3 inches away from Sanghyeok’s. The corner of his lips slowly creeped into a sly smirk before he smoothly replied, ‎"You would've loved it if woonhak called you that though."

The audacity.

“Shut up! It's not like that.” He tried to get Jaehyun off by pushing him but damn was the boy glued to the desk.

Heat was slowly starting to climb up his neck and he could look anywhere right now but that idiot's face.

The idiot in question then suddenly removed himself from the desk, giving Sanghyeok 2 seconds of peace before saying, ‎"It totally is. You're so into him. You're probably thinking of kissing him right now."

Jaehyun's grin reached his ears before he started making ( disgustingly) exaggerated smooching sounds and hugging himself.
‎Sanghyeok’s jaw parted and his eyes continued staring in awe at the show in front of him. He was processing whether to laugh or slap him, but he decided he'd rather not commit animal abuse today.

‎Just as Sanghyeok was standing up and trying to get Jaehyun to act like a normal fucking human being, the classroom door opened revealing the topic of discussion…Kim Woonhak.

‎If Jaehyun was the heartthrob, he was the official nice guy. Woonhak was the light and pride of the school, always ready to lend a hand. People liked him because of his personality and stayed because of the sincerity. It was impossible to see an empty chair beside him at lunch. His genuine and light hearted aura always led him to be surrounded by a mass. Anyone would agree that a room with Woonhak in it couldn't help but be loud and chaotic. He wasn't just loud, the boy deeply cared about everyone around him, from family to classmates and friends, he didn't let anyone feel left out.

To give you a gist, everyone adored the young boy and he had zero enemies because if someone was against him , the whole school would be against that poor soul.

‎Woonhak entered the class with his bag hung over his shoulder and his baby blue baseball jacket wrapped loosely around his waist. He was looking at his phone while his messy brown curls clung to his forehead . As he looked up, he made eye contact with Sanghyeok at the back of the class and gave a soft smile. He started walking towards him while pocketing his phone. Sanghyeok quickly nudged Jaehyun in the stomach to cut the crap before Woonhak arrived.

‎"Hi Sanghyeok hyung. How're you today?"

‎"Wow! Not gonna greet your blood cousin now, this is not how I raised you." Jaehyun barked but with no real bite behind his words.

‎"Hyung, I see you at home everyday. I barely get to talk to Sanghyeok hyung," Woonhak countered with a grin.

‎Sanghyeok felt a little sense of pride at the remark.

He cares.....well duh, of course he cares, he cares for everyone. Don't think you're special idiot.

The orange haired boy pushes his glasses up his nose and drops his eyes.

"I-I'm fine Woonhak, thanks for asking. What about you?"

‎"Oh you know, I just came from baseball practice. It sucks having to wake up at the ass crack of dawn everyday."

‎"It wouldn't be hard if you actually went to sleep at a reasonable time, aegi," Jaehyun reasoned.

‎"Please! What's up with you and cringe nicknames?" Woonhak said with a mock disgusted look planted on his face.

‎"Exactly! He calls me stuff like babe and sweetheart all the time. It's not even cute Jaehyun-ah," Sanghyeok added .

‎Before Woonhak and Sanghyeok could bully Jaehyun together, the bell rang indicating everyone to get back to their seats. The cousins said their goodbyes, leaving Sanghyeok alone with his thoughts — before the teacher came and would start enforcing his own, of course .

The lecture began and it went on as it would on any other day— boring. At least, Sanghyeok had Woonhak's soft and fluffy hair to look at in front of him. He was already imagining what shampoo he used or what those curls would feel against his palm.

‎"You're gonna burn a hole in the guy's head starting like that," a distant voice disturbs his daydreaming.

‎"Focus on your own work, Mr. Achiever," Sanghyeok turned to glare at the blond, who was already disregarding his comeback and flipping pages to jot down notes.

‎"I'm trying to. Your staring is annoying me. Either confess to him or don't act lovey dovey around him all the time. It's getting a little pathetic at this point."

‎"Don't say stuff like that out loud! What if he hears?"

‎"Great, that'll just make the process faster then."

‎"It's not that simple, Park Sungho."

‎"It really is."

‎Sanghyeok sighed in partial annoyance and partial defeat. He turned back to his own notebook— which was frankly only filled with doodles.

Was it wrong for a misfit like him to like a 6ft, good looking human magnet !? It wasn't as if he was bothering him, Sanghyeok was only admiring from afar. There's no harm in that, right !? He's keeping his feelings to himself, not bothering anyone, but that also means…Woonhak might never know.

No, shut up! Stop being annoying.

Woonhak's a sweetheart, he cares for everyone, Sanghyeok isn't some special somebody. Woonhak will find a gorgeous popular girl to date and he'll just have to live with that fact.

But... it won't hurt to like him for a while before the inevitable, right !?

                              ୨ৎ ⋆˚✿˖°

‎Sanghyeok walked out of the school gates alone— like always. Jaehyun is busy with football practice and Sungho has after school president activities. He doesn't mind being alone but it does get boring at times when there are groups of chattering and buzzing students around you. Some planning to head to a karaoke booth and others laughing together over inside jokes and sharing snacks. It's an expected site to see at a school, however it still causes a little piece of his heart to break.

All these kids are enjoying their youth and making memories while he's here experiencing a prequel to the next 20 years of his life.

Eat, work, and sleep. Rinse and repeat.

‎He keeps his head down low and keeps on moving, following the familiar path towards his part time job.

‎                            ୨ৎ ⋆˚✿˖°

‎The "$19.99 pawn shop" was a small store at the end of a street in the block next to his school. The bright red— and frankly intimidating sign board welcomed all who came (which rarely happened though, like who would enter a shady pawn shop which had the name in dollars while being in fucking Korea. Sanghyeok would love to share his marketing strategies….. if the owner ever listened). It's a two storey building with the owner living in the upper portion. He never visited, so the workers were free to do whatever— as long as they didn't steal anything.

‎The inside looked ordinary enough, until you started paying a little attention. All the shelves were clustered with random objects spanning from snow globes and watches to a jar of supposed fake bones ( made of rubber according to the owner but Sanghyeok was ready to bet a good amount that that was somebody's grandma lying inside). The walls were pale white and had begun to chip, revealing the plaster and bricks beneath. The only organized parts were the few guitars hung behind the counter and a few shelves stacked with TVs and radios placed on one side. There was also this natural built in dust and old wood smell that came with the shop.

It was amazing how the owner didn't have asthma by now.

‎Sanghyeok felt the pawn shop was a great way to pass his time in the afternoon. He was assigned to handle the cash box behind the counter, which was easy enough. Only a few regulars came by, which also saved him from awkward greetings and he had a few coworkers to keep him company.

‎"So, how's your crush doing these days hyung?"

Taesan asked while mindlessly scrolling through his playlist to play another song on the speaker. Sanghyeok knew this wasn't a serious question judging from the quiet grin tugging at the end of his lips.

‎"I don't know. We're not friends.”

‎"So it's just a hallway crush. Then why have you been crushing on him for the past two years? I mean-"

‎"Dongmin, don't say that. It's rude to say that about someone's crush,” Donghyun cut in.

He was leaning sideways against a shelf and giving Taesan a stare that clearly read ‘Please stop running your mouth’. Taesan simply rolled his eyes in return.

“It's Taesan by the way.”

The funny thing about the raven haired boy was that he insisted on being called Taesan. According to him, when he becomes a big time rockstar, that's the name he’ll go by, so might as well start practicing now. ( Sanghyeok was the only one entertaining this idea to be honest.)

And the funny thing about Donghyun was that he insisted on calling him Dongmin. According to him, their names matched and it sounded cute. He would start calling him ‘Taesan’ the day he performs in front of an actual crowd (which had to have more than 5 people).

Suddenly, Taesan's eyes lit up like a man who'd just had an internal revolution.

‎"Hey! I have an idea for that crush of yours.", he said with a particular gleam in his voice and a grin reaching his ears.

‎"What do you mean?" Sanghyeok didn't like the tone of his voice.

‎Taesan rose from his chair behind the counter and came to stand in between Donghyun and Sanghyeok, in the dead middle of the shop— the boy frankly looked prepared to deliver the fucking independence speech.

‎"How about you ask him !? Nothing too direct, just like 'Hey, you looking for any relationships these days cuz' I've been pining you for the last 2 years and would love if you'd give me a sign because frankly, I'm starting to look a bit pathetic in this one sided simping' "

‎This proposal was followed by a heavy pregnant silence in the shop. Even the ceiling fan's constant droning seemed to read the room and shut up. Both Sanghyeok and Donghyun had absolutely no words for whatever bomb Taesan just dropped. He just looked at both with a smirk on his face as if he'd found the solution to Sanghyeok’s entire life.

Donghyun was the one who broke the silence.

‎"Babe, I think that's a little too direct and frankly traumatizing."

‎That led to a little pout on Taesan's face, he turned towards Donghyun and closed the gap between them in two strides . He was standing in front of him when he said,"But that's how I found you, by confessing. I think it worked pretty well."

‎Donghyun smiled fondly at his boyfriend's straightforwardness and gave a peck to his cheek. "Yes baby, but not everyone is the Devil's child."

A light blush dusted Taesan's cheeks. He brought his hand up to his boyfriend's head to tuck a piece of brown hair behind his ear. Taesan closed the gap between their lips to plant a soft kiss.

‎"Please refrain from making out in front of me. Also, not everyone is reckless like you." Sanghyeok gave a glare to Taesan to which the other boy only stuck out his tongue in retaliation.

‎"And yet I'm the one with a boyfriend."

‎Sanghyeok was about to give Taesan a lecture when the familiar chime of the front door bell rings out. Oh…it was one of their regulars

Oh…it was Kim.Fucking.Woonhak.

‎He entered the shop with the usual spring in his shoe and a confident smile of a man who knew he was regular and had no shame in admitting it. He then glanced sideways at Sanghyeok and gave a little wave. He returned the gesture before the other boy nodded in satisfaction and left to stroll the shop.

‎He wandered around the shop for exactly 7 minutes and 40 seconds (not that Sanghyeok was counting) before arriving at the counter with a bottle of purple and blue nail polish. Sanghyeok always wants to ask why the boy visits this run down store on a regular basis instead of going to some established place, but backs out at every last second.

‎"Is that all ?" he asked.

‎"Yes."

‎"That'll be 2,200 won."

‎While Woonhak was rummaging through his school bag to pull out the cash, Sanghyeok thought back on his previous discussion with Taesan. Was he just a coward hiding behind the mask of mindfulness? It irked him up the wrong way, so he decided to take a leap of faith (just to prove Taesan wrong, nothing else).

‎"Do you paint your nails ?"

‎Woonhak instantly froze, he slowly turned his head towards Sanghyeok. "Huh.."

‎The orange haired boy swallowed what felt like a lump of cotton in his throat and asked again.

‎"Do you paint your nails? I asked because of the nail polish."

‎Woonhak finally snapped back and threw his head back in laughter. It echoed a bit
loudly and ended too quickly.

‎"No, no, it's just for my little sister. She's been into it these days."

‎"Oh…That's nice to hear."

‎"Yeah," he scratched behind his neck, "Sorry if I kinda zoned out earlier, I was just kinda surprised you asked me something other than 'Is that all'. Not that it's a bad thing of course ."

‎Sanghyeok’s eyes fell to the floor while he pushed his gigantic glasses further up his nose bridge. He didn't quite understand what suddenly took his voice away. Woonhak was just pointing out the obvious yet here he was having a mini turmoil over how Woonhak remembered this stupid tiny detail.

‎Between Woonhak's awkwardness and Sanghyeok’s embarrassment, the couple in the back of the shop were silently witnessing a rom com scene play out. The awkward and still air between them was suffocating. Taesan frankly couldn't be bothered to hear it any longer .

‎"So....Woonhak was it? You're Sanghyeok’s hyung's classmate," Taesan said, separating himself from Leehan to walk to his seat behind the counter.
‎The question brought Woonhak out of his mind.

‎"Uh...yeah."

‎"You look young though. I'd say at least 2 to 3 years." Donghyun added to bring a light ambience back.

‎"I am actually. I skipped a grade, though I started late, so I'm 17 right now,”Woonhak replied with a boyish smile.

‎Donghyun nodded but Taesan wasn't satisfied just yet. He wanted to know a little more before letting Woonhak off the hook.

‎"You know, you're not really lacking in the department looks though."

What the absolute hell!?

Was Dongmin quote unquote hitting on Woonhak, in front of Sanghyeok and his fucking boyfriend. Sanghyeok thinks he'll let Taesan himself decide who'll get to give him the deserving slap first.

‎"Um....Thanks."

‎"You must get a crap load of confessions, no?”

‎All of a sudden, Sanghyeok realized he never really admired the guitars hung behind him. Some of them are antiques, he should appreciate their build.

‎"Haha, not really. Everyone knows I'm not looking for a relationship right now. Baseball and studies take up too much of my time."

Oh...

Oh.

Okay.

Sanghyeok always knew there was this option— Woonhak not being interested in any relationship. He just never really gave it much leverage, since the boy walked with his heart on his sleeve. Woonhak would receive bountiful love and yet he would still return it ten fold back. Sanghyeok figured he'd be the lover guy. The type to go enjoy sunsets, hold hands, buy matching keychains and sing love songs. It was just so Woonhak.

‎But he guessed baseball was the one who won his attention and acknowledgment at the end of the day.

‎Sanghyeok couldn't really bear to turn around and face Woonhak.

Why would he willingly look at the face behind his mini heartbreak !?

‎Taesan must be a fucking mind reader or something because he suddenly stepped in front of the cashbox, saving Sanghyeok from the confrontation. While Sanghyeok still stood there staring hard into each groove and curve of the guitars, Taesan smoothly finished the exchange with Woonhak and sent the boy on his way

‎It was a good two minutes before he turned and whispered, "Hyung..."

‎"Before you ask, I'm fine," Sanghyeok whispers back to silence

‎"It was just a hallway crush."

‎…

‎"I'm fine."

‎Sanghyeok wasn't sure who he was trying to convince— himself or the others. Something unpleasant had pooled in the pit of his stomach, its effect pulsating throughout his body. His body was aching while his mind had strangely gone blank. All he knew was that he just wanted to go and drop dead onto his bed (the only safe space that hadn't traumatized him yet).

‎Thankfully, the shift ended in the next hour— around early evening, and their seniors clocked in. Taesan and Donghyun bid their goodbyes and went their way while Sanghyeok headed towards his home.

‎‎                               ୨ৎ ⋆˚✿˖°

‎Sanghyeok threw his bag on the floor and laid back flat on his bed. His mother had offered him dinner but he shrugged it off , saying he was too tired right now.

‎Damn, his mind thought.

Woonhak had unknowingly broken a heart today and Sanghyeok had to deal with the aftermath of gluing the pieces back together. To be honest, he didn't want to go to school tomorrow. Quantum Physics and Stoichiometry seemed like a whole different heartbreak, and an even more pain in the ass. Alas, he knew his mother wouldn't let him take an entire school day off just because some boy had rejected his heart.

He just sighed into the silence of the room, the only comforting sounds being the beat of his heart and the rotating fan. Guess he'll just have to quietly face both his teachers and Woonhak tomorrow. Sanghyeok never really believed in religion but found himself praying— to whoever’s up there— to show him mercy tomorrow.

                            ୨ৎ ⋆˚✿˖°

‎Sanghyeok’s feet forcefully dragged him towards the classroom door. As soon as he opened it, he was met with the familiar noise of students. He kept his head low and dropped down on his seat. Just as he was about to lay his head down and have a comfortable sixth overthinking session, a sharp scream pierced through the comfortable and familiar ambience of the room.

‎Right outside the class door, a group of young girls (most likely juniors) were huddled in a group. All cheering and hooting. Sanghyeok couldn't really give a damn about the gossip but his mind did think, at 7 fucking AM, seriously!? Are these people choosing gossip over sanity?
‎He guessed he must've been starting because Sungho's voice beside him spoke up.

‎"I don't condone this behaviour myself, but they won't listen."

‎"Why did someone scream though?"

‎"Oh, that was Wonhee. Everybody knows what happened last night with her post finally getting a reply."

‎"Post...?" Sanghyeok raised an eyebrow.

‎"Yeah, on the blog you know."

‎"What blog?" Sanghyeok's confusion still wasn't resolved.

‎"You seriously don't know about the C&C blog ." Sungho looked up from his notebook for the first time today and gave Sanghyeok an incredulous look.

‎"No....Am I supposed to?"

‎Now the book was completely abandoned. Sungho had shifted his entire body to face Sanghyeok.

‎"You seriously live under a rock, Lee Sanghyeok. C&C is the biggest school blog. It's anonymous, so people obviously post all kinds of stuff on there, that's why it's called confessions and confrontations," he said with a slightly exaggerated tone and motion.

‎"Oh....Never really knew I guess." Sanghyeok didn't think of himself as necessarily anti-social. He had Instagram and everything but this was his first time hearing about "C&C".

‎"It started with a real goal but is basically an online community board at this point. "

Sungho then gave a tiny smirk and laughed to himself.

‎"Your boy Woonhak runs it by the way."

‎He then moves back to his book as if the conversation was finished.

‎Sanghyeok’s jaw remained open at that last line. Why did nobody ever tell him this before !?

Woonhak……The Kim Wonnhak, is running a blog .

He had to check it out later . He knows Woonhak indirectly rejected him and all but this has got nothing to do with that right !? He's just looking to see what he'd been missing out on all this time .

                                ୨ৎ ⋆˚✿˖°

‎Before Sanghyeok knew it, he found himself in the familiar spot behind the counter of the $19.99 pawn shop. Taesan was rambling about something to his lover and Sanghyeok might've indulged in the conversation but his mind was completely occupied by another matter. All he wanted was to drop dead on his bed and scroll through the C&C .

‎"Hyung, you got it?" Taesan looks at him with anticipating eyes .

‎"Um…yeah. Could you just repeat it one more time?"

‎"You were not fucking listening."

‎Sanghyeok breathes out a sheepish laugh and makes a gesture of apology with his hands.

‎"Nope, I'm not repeating myself. No one here appreciates my talent and concern."

‎Taesan was at the end of the
day......Taesan— aka dramatic.

‎"Don't be a brat. You're almost 18." Donghyun scolded his boyfriend but his tone was more so filled with endearment than sternness

‎"Basically," he continues," Dongmin says that you shouldn't lose all hope on Woonhak"

‎"The hell!? Why are we still on that topic? I told you I'm over it."

‎"Hyung, no offense but you looked like a wet sad puppy yesterday." The raven haired boy adds.

‎"Hm...look we're not saying to do some grand confession, just sneak in some little hints here and there ."

‎Taesan then reaches down from his chair to grab his bag. He shuffles around for a bit before taking out a thin notepad.

‎"What about anonymous notes !? He won't know it's you and you'll get to shoot your shot.”

‎Well, Taesan really had a way of hitting the bullseye with his ideas. Anonymous notes....that's just too risky. What if he figures out the handwriting or even worse, catches him writing it?

‎"Not a bad idea, it's cute and safe," Donghyun says.

Whatever.....

Sanghyeok is definitely not playing these games but if it gets them to shut up for a moment.

‎"I'll think about it ..."

‎Taesan then slams the notebook on the table in victory and spins his chair around as a celebratory dance.

Sanghyeok sometimes thinks the government should just wait just one more year before making this kid legal in society.

                              ୨ৎ ⋆˚✿˖°

‎The website wasn't entirely what Sanghyeok was expecting. He anticipated cheesy confessions and love stories , it was rather a mix of confrontations, memes, and some short but sweet crush reveals.

‎The name of the blog was spot on,

‎Oh...so Woonhak does reply to the entries from time to time. Sanghyeok scrolled some more and saw the administrator's replies a few times under various different entries.
Sometimes playful and teasing.

‎Sometimes sarcastic.

‎Sometimes emotional

‎And sometimes painfully sincere.

It was all very.....Woonhak. Sanghyeok thought if he were to write a confession entry, would the boy reply? If he tagged him of course he would, but what kind of reply!? Sweet and sincere or stoic and disgusted. This was just a random user confessing to him after all, especially after he strictly made his no confessions rule clear. Amidst his internal dilemma, his thumb kept scrolling and his eyes landed upon a particularly long confession.

‎ To Eunchae Unnie,
‎ I'll cut to the chase. I REALLY like you ( ◜‿◝ )♡. You're one of the most adorable and sweetest people I've met and you're always the first person i look for in any room. But the first thing that I introduced me to u was (this might sound silly) your fragrance. U always smell like fresh cherry blossoms, which are my favourite flowers. So if you'll accept this invitation, meet me in the 10th graders physics lab at lunch. If not, then thank for being yourself (a.k.a sunshine) and allowing me to have the beautiful experience of liking a girl (˃͈ દ ˂͈ ).

‎That was sweet.
If Sanghyeok ever received a confession like this, he'd accept it on the spot for sure, but for now these moments can only be dreamt.

As he swiped further, he found Woonhak's reply underneath.

REPLIES:

~@FreshBoiHak: Hitting on my friend I see, but no joke go get em tiger, rooting for you. Rest assured, we'll make sure Eunchae doesn't go around breaking hearts.

Cute...

This gets Sanghyeok thinking. What if he does make an entry !? It is anonymous at the end of the day, so it's not like anyone will know it's him. Taesan and Donghyun did say this is one of the best methods to get someone to notice you— not that they're professional couple advisors but at least they are a couple, so they just know something about what they're talking about

‎His thumb hovers over the post button .
‎It's anonymous, isn't it !? Nobody would ever know.

‎Even if it looks creepy then woonhak can just reject it and Sanghyeok will just suck it up and get over it. It's not a big deal. He shouldn't overthink it, just get it done. Take that leap of faith.

After what feels like an eternity, Sanghyeok begins typing…

‎ Are you French by any chance!? bc eiffel for uu. Did uu laugh, I hope uu did. But back to the point, did anyone tell uu that ur literally the human embodiment of the sun, lighting up ppl's day like it's second nature.

I guess uu might've already heard that....but let me be your daily reminder ;) (that was cheesy ASFFF).

Yah Kim Woonhak, thnxs for bringing a little more happiness with uu everywhere. I'm not one to seek the spotlight, ( infact the number of ppl that know my name could be counted on just a single hand) but fsr uu really make me feel.....seen. Shit , it's all ur fault I feel these butterflies at literally one in the morning, so hurry up and fix them.

Notes:

So how was it!? Chapter 2 is a work in progress and updates might take time but I won't leave this fic.

Also, I used the name Riwoo in the first draft but then changed it to Sanghyeok cuz it felt more sincere. So if u suddenly see the name Riwoo somewhere, ignore it ;).

Plzz do comment, it will FUCKING light up my entire day
