Two lays in bed thinking of what to do.
Or anything to do at this point since they just saw four get kicked and sealed in the moon and shipped to who knows where
All they could think about were their contestants, “friends”, four, and gaty.
The thought of gaty brings tears to their eyes and made them remind of how all of this was their fault, the tears hurt their eyes and starts to burn in a way thats both physically and mentally
A few hours passes but then everything shook, it was like the earth itself was being moved and played. A few seconds of this goes by. Strangely everything went red.
All red, the room, outside, everything was pure and vibrant red.
The sudden change of colour punched their eyes and they start to rub the pain away
Then suddenly everything stopped. Well thats nice until two started to hear things from above.
What? Was that- crying? And it isn’t from them surely. It sounded child-like.
Like something desperate to stress relief. It was unrecognizable by hearing, The crying was so scratchy, it sounded like screaming, it was so bad that two had to at least try and get up
‘Come on two..just this one time. I’ll get up. Just this once, alright easy does it..”
Two tries to slowly get off the bed but collapses face first onto the ground.
With a little yelp coming from the worn out algebralien
They try to get up from the ground but they were so tired and drained that they wanted to give up. But the thrashing from above made them want to keep going until they succeeded.
They grunted, tried again and again, they pushed themselves to their limit. and with every try, the thundering from up kept getting more ratchet and harder
They finally got up on two. They tried to take a step and stumbled to the door but luckily was caught by the door handle.
They opened the door cautiously and looked around the hotel. Gosh, what happened here? They were dead bodies almost in every corner, no wonder someone was bawling they’re eyes out
They listened and tried to hear where the crying was from
They realized it came from the vent above the ceiling. Two started to walk and stumbled below the vent and started to brainstorm how to get up, maybe they could use the ladder and climb up?
Psh, yeah, like they had the energy to climb or even walk at this point
They thought to just try and call for the child from up
“Hello? Is anybody there?” Two tried to shout as loud as the minor can hear.
The crying suddenly turned to scared and almost surprised gasp as if the unknown person tried to keep their voice quiet from fear.
“Im grassy…?”
“Grassy? Is that you? Its me, two”
Noises from the vent started to come from above like something was crawling closer to the opening. The vent slowly opened and there was the little grass figure, he looked below towards two like trying to make sure it really was them.
Then grassy finally showed an ounce of his face
His poor little green body looked so weak it hurt two looking at him in that state.
“Oh grassy.. come here” two opened their arms in a welcoming way towards the vent
Grassy looked hesitant and faintly shook his head
“It’s okay buddy, we’re the only ones here, its safe to come out now”
Grassy looked down still looking hesitant
“Come on.. you can do it, jump and you’re safe and sound”
With two’s reassuring words, grassy attempted to cautiously trying to step out of the vent when he suddenly slipped and fell down until two caught him in their arms within seconds
“Welp..at least we have each other.”
Grassy looked around while being held by two and saw the bodies scattered around the changed hallway. That was used to be pink and cheery
