as stormz and dumb walked through the school yard, dumb occasionally picked flowers while stormz commented on his choice of flower and the meaning of it
" that's a purple rose, it means enchantment and love at first sight. " stormz commented as dumb picked another flower
" you sure do know alot about flowers, huh? " dumb commented as she turned to stormz, smiling subtly, " uh– yeah, i used to enjoy reading about them as a kid. " they smiled

dumb watched from afar as stormz hung out with dol9, looking at his phone and the unsent messages from months ago when stormz blocked him on everything.
hazel noticed him staring, of course she did, " dumb, it's okay. you don't have to remember those times. remember, stay positive! " she smiled warmly, a stark contrast to dumbs blank expression
dumb blinked a bit, before he smiled and pulled hazel into a hug, " thank you... " he muttered before burying his head in her shoulder.
stormz glanced over to the duo, staring for a few moments before going back to dol9
it wasn't that important, they did it for a reason. he'd be better off with dol9 and she'd be better off with hazel.
the contrast with dol9 and stormz' sharp and overall just school talk and hazel and dumb's soft and gentle personal talk was.. a hard pill to swallow.
but, it'll be fine. they'll be fine. maybe.
