There are three main types of anomalies which are all named based on how common they are and their ranking within their groups for simplification sakes I'm going to call them packs because this is a world of animal people who are getting infected and turning into monsters. (:-|) The three main types are common anomalies uncommon anomalies and alpha anomalies
Common anomalies.______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Common anomalies are the easiest to detect for their mutations are more obvious and more pronounced. only 30% of common anomalies have a chance of being intelligent while the rest just go off their base desires and instincts when the main one being hunger.
Most of these anomalies are easily detected by what they say and by looking at him through cameras. Sometimes some individuals produce the smell of rott and decay. Normal anomalies are the easiest to detect and it's very hard for them to hide there anomalous features given to them by their strain of the virus.
The more intelligent individuals are less likely to attack animals and their fellow intelligent anomalies but they're still fairly aggressive and may purposely infect others. Well they're dumber counterparts still have their faculties in communication and thinking there's not much going on up there. And our instinctually driven to areas where there are weaker "prey". Such as schools, clinics, hospitals, and even retirement homes causing these places to have to have more security and to check every individual that comes in. They will Target previous family members if they remember they had family but that is unlikely because most of the memory is wiped out and or destroyed by the infection the intelligent ones still retain some of their memories but it's here and there with it don't count on it saving you if you knew them.
The infection rate for common anomalies is relatively high but that's because most of the individuals that are attacked by these anomalies survive and are not eaten. it is imperative that you go to a hospital to get an antibiotic spray on all your injuries especially bites and scratches anywhere where their fluids may have came in contact with yours or went into wounds. And after being treated at the hospital you may have to take antibiotics for a while to ensure that you are not infected with the virus that makes anomalies. The strains commonly carried by common anomalies tend to be less lethal and dangerous but this makes mutation rates individuals infected by strains from common anomalies much less likely to be a higher level of anomaly.
How to deal with common anomaly. You can either call the help hotline for dealing with anomalys or take it into your own paws and use a gun or taser but the taser is less lethal. Make sure they do not get close when dealing with them though because they have double of everything they should have if they were really strong before they're stronger now. It takes one to two good place to shots to take down a common anomaly. And if you choose the hide away from them and call the help hotline make sure it's somewhere decently far away from them and away from the wind direction because they have double the senses.
Uncommon anomalies._____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Uncommon anomalies very in how easy they are to find. They usually have more mutations than the normal variant but they're either very inconspicuous or they're able to hide them much better. 50% of The uncommon anomalies have higher intelligence than their rest. Luckily they're not that common hence the name.
The uncommon anomalies are harder to detect than the common ones. They have better hiding skills even the the ones acting on their base desire for food. They think more than the common anomalies and of several more dangerous and more unpredictable. The same methods to detect normal nominees work on them but the changes between camera and seeing them in real life is much more subtle.
Uncommon anomalies less intelligent counterpart are more aggressive and have higher intelligence than the common so much so that they have the intelligence a nine to ten year old at their at their most intelligence. Because of their heightened intelligence they are capable of planning ambushes and traps often using their fellow anomalies to help in the ambush. common anomalies listen to The uncommon because they're higher up on the order and far more stronger than they are. These individuals prefer hunting anything they please they still instinctually are driven into places for weaker animals are similar to the common anonymous but they're more smarter about it. They're intelligent counterpart is less aggressive but completely unpredictable for many of them choose to turn animals into anomalies you should be more wary of the intelligent individuals.
The rate for infection is very low but that is because the majority of the individuals attacked usually die from blood loss or from being eaten. But if you are attacked and you survive head to the nearest animal Corp hospital for treatment they have antibiotics made specifically for the strains of the virus that uncommon anomalies carry. The strings of virus is the uncommon anomalies carry can be quite dangerous and deadly but if infected you will most certainly will become an uncommon anomaly or hire keeping yourself or not.
Do not engage if you are not training to fight because these anomalies are far stronger than the normal ones they're not double their strong they're triple and maybe four times stronger than they normally should be and have just as much speed. They have great regeneration majority of the time and take more than one well place shot to take them down you can blow their head off but they'll regenerate it. It takes multiple rounds to put one down if you're not a trained agent or fighter then you should not engage they can be downed with electricity though so if one gets close and you have a taser to the s*** out of it and run. You should hide but that would be useless all you could do is run as far as you can as quietly as you can because because these anomalies have three times better since then you do.
Alpha anomaly.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
All alpha anomalies should be considered aberrations they are the highest on the picking order and can command other anomalies that they "recruit" to their packs. We only know how they recruit others anomalies and give them their strain of the virus because we caught an individual that was a part of a pack. Alpha anomalies have a very unstable and mutagenic strain of the virus and it is unknown how it affects them in their psyche the majority of them should be intelligent is unknown how much they remember at their old life. It is assumed that they have majority of their memories though.
It was thought that they can only give they're virus other anomalies but that is wrong. There were four individuals injured by an alpha five killed before that survived 3(sorry it was supposed to be three) of them mutated horribly and died. The last one survived and became an aberration but they did not become an alpha anomaly. they were so horribly deformed that they were unrecognizable from what they once was.
