Ok so:
Everything up to the orphans's deaths is the same as in the main series, so dark era and everything before that is the same with the bar lupin trio and yada yada yada. Instead of Asagiri actually blowing up children the restaurant owner and kids survive and it was all some illusion ability like Tanizaki's but Oda only figures that out after the Gide fight where he goes back to pay his respects (don't ask me who or how just shut up and accept it) so continue with stuff going the same as in the og universe until the Oda v Gide fight where instead of Oda dying Dazai arrives on time to kill Gide while he is distracted with Oda. So anyway Gide is dead now and Oda is like "fuck this shit I can't take this anymore I'm quitting the mafia and so should you Dazai because saving people makes the world more beautiful" or whatever but Dazai just goes "yeah no, I'm staying in the PM to make sure they don't try to kill your ass or anything, plus I wanna kill Mori for sacrificing you" and Oda reluctantly accepts for now and knows it'd take more than a 'I quit' speech to change Dazai like maybe if he died or something whoops.
Dazai goes after Mori's ass and almost kills him but in the end Mori survives and Dazai has to continue just being an exec. He does the whole takin Gin in and forcing Akutagawa and Atsushi to meet mostly just to test those two and does it all behind Moris back
So, Oda joins the agency (yippie) and the rest follows as BEAST canon except nobody knows they're in a parallel universe and the whole Dazai singularity knowing of the main world thing doesnt exist 👍
Tl;dr 2 electric bogaloo: I dont like that Dazai dies in BEAST and knows of the og universe and that Oda was never part of the PM in BEAST so I changed all of that but that meant I had to deal with a lot of loose ends that would leave and it ended up being far more convoluted than I expected.
