The entire class is gathering their belongings before all file out of the classroom when Lord X makes his way inside. Following right after him is Niku, who a few of the students greet on their way out to which they wave and smile back up at. Towards the back of the classroom cleaning up and organizing their own space is the teacher Chef Rose. Upon noticing his two favorite people, he beams an excitable grin at the both of them. "Give me just a minute to finish up and I'll be ready to go.~"
A small grin comes to Lord X's own lips as he crosses his arms and nods.
Niku nods vigorously giving their papa a thumbs up.
After a few minutes of waiting, the pink male is finally done taking care of what little he had left. The moment he finishes, he circles around his desk making a light jog over to his adopted child where he scoops them up. They giggle happily as the man hugs them tightly and lightly swings their body side to side before giving the side of their head a noisy wet kiss. Once they're done being affectionately flailed around, does Niku return the embrace. Both of their tails wag in contentment.
After he puts down his child, does he reach out to grab one of Lord X's hands holding it in his own two. The older man can't keep himself from smiling down at the younger who smiles so brightly up at him.
Max is snapped out of the sweet moment from something tugging on his shirt. It's Niku. Their fingers and thumb curl in slightly making a c shape. They place that hand up to the spot where their neck and collar bone meet dragging it down to the end of their chest. "Oh! Let's get you something to eat then, shall we?"
A verdant gaze shifts back to the tallest of the three. "How does fast food sound? Kinda feeling lazy today…" There's a shy expression as he scratches the side of his muzzle.
He receives the shrugging of shoulders. "Sounds good to me. While you're cooking is leagues above most, well, anything, I'm not going to be picky where and what we eat. So don't fret over not cooking for a change." A hand reaches down to grab a hold of the younger's pressing lips to the back of it. This knowing smirk curls along the edges of his lips showing off a few teeth. "There will be other times where you can wine and dine me.~"
Fair cheeks flush to a light pink with his free hand pressed against one of them as he giggles like a schoolboy.
His child narrows their eyes being unamused at their affectionate display as fingers fly across their text to speech device. "[Can we GO all ready??]"
"Of course." Max reassures them as he strokes their head. "Just one sec!~" He relinquishes his hand out of the other hedgehog's grasp using both hands to cup the underside of his muzzle. Getting on his tiptoes, Max stretches his body upward so he is able to reach the man's face. Lips press a kiss to one of the cheeks on his scruffy muzzle. "There. Now we can go.~"
Despite his own now flushed cheeks, Lord X is smirking ear to ear that the other man. His scruffy tail swaying in his happy state.
The three hedgehogs walk alongside each other with Niku holding onto one of their papa's hands. Their destination isn't too far since it's the local McDonald's by the university. Surprisingly it's pretty empty with little to no people inside.
Niku immediately lets go of Max's hand rushing up to the front counter when they spot a familiar face. The familiar face in question is a green hedgehog man that stands a few inches taller than Lord X. His head quills are tied back having been fed through the hole in the back of his work hat. The sleeves around his biceps are tight due to how muscular his arms are. His stomach is quite large being barely covered by his work shirt along with being tight around his chest. Peeking out from the collar of his shirt where it's unbuttoned are little stray furs. His eyes are a sharp light blue that gleam with confidence. The green hedgehog rests one of his arms onto the counter's surface using it as support as he leans over. Sharp teeth are shown off as he flashes a smirk down at the little hedgehog. "What's up, little dude?~" A massive hand reaches downward to rustle head quills.
Niku allows him to do so seeming quite content by the gesture. Their tail is wagging vigorously as they stand on their tiptoes to peer over the counter top. With their hands holding onto the edge of the counter, they are unable to articulate a response.
"Your pops with ya?" The man decides to ask instead.
Head quills bob as the little hedgehog nudges their head behind themselves.
"You look at the menu and figure out what'cha want. I'm going to go meet up with Niku and catch up with an old acquaintance.~" Max pats Lord X's shoulder shooting him a wink before running up ahead. Instead of doing what's suggested of him, the older man's gaze follows after the younger.
"Speak of the devil…" An arm lays over the one on the counter as he continues leaning where he's at. "Where the hell have you been? 'S been a while." He asks the pink male with a toothy smirk and the arching of his eyebrow.
"Hello Scourge!~" Exclaims Max the moment he's beside his child and in front of the taller man. Scourge's question immediately has him chuckling. "Sorry been busy. If all of my time isn't given to little Niku here, then it's been to my gentlemen friend.~" He makes a show of winking and beaming a smile up at the other hedgehog.
Before Scourge can inquire about this mystery fella, Niku grabs Max's attention with another shirt tug. Their belly growls while their ears flatten. "Right!" A hand caresses the top of their head. "We'll get your something, baby." Is what he softly coos at them.
The taller of the three lets out a groan as he stands up normally. Palms rest against his lower back as he arches in a stretch. "Gettin' old…" He grumbles to himself. "So-" He directs his icy blue gaze down to the smallest hedgehog. "Think you're confident enough to order this time?"
Little feet shuffle nervously as dark eyes lower shyly. After a couple of seconds of fidgeting shyly, do they scoot halfway behind Max where they tug on his clothing again. Their papa strokes their head saying soothing words into their ear. "I guess not this time, Scourge, but I'm sure they'll get more comfortable to order at some point.~"
There's an agreeing nodding of his head with a thumbs up. "So the usual then, little dude?~"
Niku looks up for a moment before lowering their eyes again then nodding in response.
"Gotcha!~" Scourge shifts his attention back to Max. "And what will it be, babe?" He flashes the other man a cheeky grin and a wink.
Green eyes roll before hands playfully shove the other man followed with a laugh. "Oh stooop!~" The other man joins in with his own laugh. "I don't want Lord X to get the wrong idea!"
Ears stand straight up as he perks up to the mentioning of someone else. "Oh, and who's that?" Was that the guy that came up earlier?
"Oh! He's actually here with us! Probably right behind us still figuring out what he wants." One of his own hands cups one of his cheeks as he heaves out a lovesick sigh. "He's so good looking, isn't he?~"
Oh, now Scourge is extremely curious about this 'Lord X' since Max is instantly fawning over him! Plus, he's been given permission to ogle, so why not?~ Let's see how fine of a man this guy was-!! A strangled sound catches in his throat with his entire body stiffening in terror. His body breaks out in a cold sweat and a chill slides down his spine.
Despite standing in a well light area, the man in question seems to be shrouded mostly in blackness. Blood red eyes stare intensely at him without so much as a blink. His entire being radiates a malicious aura that unnerves Scourge. For the first time in that green hedgehog's life he feels absolutely terrified!
Max stands before the man cocking his head to one side from the sudden change in demeanor. Noticing that he's petrified in fear from whatever he's staring at, the shorter of the two decides to see what has him so scared.
Right when Max looks over in Lord X's direction does he go from standing menacingly to donning his usual toothy cocky smirk, though it did seems a little unnerving… The oldest man waves, a knowing gleam shines in his eyes.
He turns back to Scourge with a chuckle and the dismissive wave of his hand. "Oh don't let him scare you. He's not so bad once you get used to him.~"
Little does he realize that the second he looked away from Lord X, he went back to his frightening stare down with Scourge.
A hand raises to clutch at his own chest. "I-I'll take you word for it…!"
"Oh!" Max turns back to Lord X. "Are you ready to order? Me and Niku have already placed ours!"
Scourge immediately steps back from the register upon Lord X striding up to him much more quickly than he would have liked! Instead of menacingly gawking at the taller man, the shorter simply smirks with narrowed eyes eyeing him up and down methodically. A hand stretches out towards him. "It seems we haven't been formally introduced." His smirk widens into sharp teeth, which cause a shiver to run up Scourge's spin. "You may refer to me as Lord X. …and what your name might be?" As if he hadn't been watching and eavesdropping on them.
Scourge's own hand is trembling when he hesitates to place it into Lord X's to shake it. He really really didn't want to shake his hand, but he knows better. Don't disrespect a possibly dangerous and powerful person being polite to you, unless you wanted to feel their wrath. "Oh, uh, the name's Scourge."
It's a couple of shakes in that Scourge lets out a painful groan upon feeling his fingers crushed under the pressure of the other hedgehog's tightening grip. Teeth grit and ears flatten when a low chuckles rumbles in Lord X's chest. "Apologies. I tend to forget my own strength sometimes."
After a few excruciating seconds, a sigh of relief is seethed between teeth the moment that painful pressure is released from around his poor hand. The rest of his shift was going to be annoying with an injured hand…
…what the fuck have I gotten myself into…??
