!!! Xie lian gasped these cherries are delicious he thought. a warm laugh rang out “do you like them gege?” Fondness in his eye
As xie lian swallowed, he blushed a little “yes! They're very good! I wonder how I could get some…” he mumbled at the tail end. Hua cheng immediately flagged down a waiter. Suddenly feeling a bit ashamed and very embarrassed. He only thought he could get some as a treat… But with his bank account he was sure he couldn't afford it. xie lian hurridly waved his hands out in front of him
“No no no it’s alright!!” But before he could protest further a waiter came by. Ah, how silly this is he quietly thought to himself
“Yes sir? Anything youd like?”
“Where can i get these cherries” he said seriously. Almost as though his life depended on it. San lang! Its really not a big deal. Hopeless to stop it he watched helplessly
“Ah you have good taste! These cherries are straight from italy and quite the delicacy! This restaurant buys them in bulk for $110 dollars. I’ll go ask where exactly we supply them from!” The waiter talked enthusiastically and Xie lian slowly became more mortfified $110 dollars?! For some cherries?! Hua cheng on the other hand seemed as though this was fine.
Before the waiter could leave Xie lian quickly waved his hand in dismisal “no no, theres no nead! We where just curious!” He turned to hia cheng at the end and he looked like a drowned puppy. Pouting a little.
The waiter swiftly left and xie lian drank the rest of his mocktail. Only refilling it to get another cherry. This really is good!! After a bit of hua cheng pouting xie lian sighed and smiled warmly. Maybe san lang would like to try. So he asked “San lang, would you like to try?”
Periking up he replied “of course if gege wants me to try” blushing a little xie lian held up a toothpick with a very suspiciously dark cherry. As hua cheng took the cherry in his mouth xie lian blushed a bit. “Do you like it?”
“Mmm, yes its very sweet. Though its not as good as geges cooking” Xie lian quickly looked away and didnt know wether to laugh or cry san lang is just too sweet!!
Just like when hua cheng invited xie lian to this beautiful restaurant!
It had been early in the day and xie lians morning had been off to a horrible start! He woke up late, his shower was freezing cold and his car wouldnt start for 30 whole minutes!!
When he finally arrived at his favorite coffee shop there was practically a line through the door!!
Since it was saturday and he hadnt treated himself in a while he wanted to get something from his favorite cafe. Sighing and admitting defeat xie lian walked away. Right then he got a text from san lang
“Good morning gege, how are you doing?”
Xie lians chest filled with warmth rest assured whenever he was feeling down hua cheng always knew when and how to make him smile.
“Good morning san lang! Im doing okay besides some minor grievances how was yours?” Ignoring the question completely hua cheng replied
“Did something happen gege? Rest assured I wont rest until its fixed!”
Xie lian chuckled to himself oh san lang
“Nothing much I just wanted to treat myself and nothing went to plan! Haha, that seems to happen often so i dont mind!”
Xie lian scratched his cheek, hell probably treat himself tomorrow or next weekend. Heck mayb not until another month… Xie lian shaked his head, surely it wont be that long.
Breaking himself from his thoughts, he looked at the next message
“Don’t worry gege I’ll treat you myself”
And that's how he found himself here, with the kindest person. He really was lucky to have his san lang. he stared at hua cheng deep in thought.
“Something the matter gege? Or are you mesmerized by my charm?” He said with a cheeky smirk.
Xie lian smiled warmly and chuckled a bit. The night slowly went on peacefully. Warm and cozy.
He really was thankful to have him.
