A What If?Au (with Keefe x Tam, so if you know you don’t like the ship, don’t bother to read)
So basically, this is one of my midnight ideas that I finally am working into a fic. Basically, What if Tam and Linh didn’t get banished and they’re still defiant/rebellious, but in a different way (more like Keefe). So Tam and Linh go to Foxfire properly and they of course meet Keefe and him and Tam trauma bond and become some kind of prank duo, who eventually start dating (I don’t know from which point, this is literally the only things I worked out already)
Tam and Keefe meet on the first day in detention. Because Fitz is an absent friend sometimes (see searching Sophie), the two become friends very fast. They get known as the troublemaker duo.
Title is named after the song talk Too Much by COIN, it’s very good, I suggest you check it out.
Prologue begins now (only conversation):
Keefe: So... what punishment did you get from your parents?
Tam: None. I talked them out of it with the excuse that my grades would slip with each punishment and it worked surprisingly good! What did yours say?
Keefe: The usual. That I'm wasting my potential and that Dame Alina is an idiot. Don't really know if that's a win though...
Tam: Hey, every escape from punishment is a win, right? And your parents are kind of right...
Keefe: What?! You also think I'm wasting my ''potential''?!
Tam: No! Of course not! Are you crazy? I meant that they think Dame Alina is an idiot.
Keefe: Phew! Thought I was in enemy territory for a moment!
Tam: Well, we are on school territory, so...
*Both boys laugh, but quickly get cut off by Dame Alina*
Dame Alina: What's so funny this early in the morning boys? Planning for another prank?
*She looks between the two of them, then walks off*
Keefe: She almost scared my hair of my head! Why is she so sneaky?!
Tam: I don't know, but we have to go to class now.
Keefe: By going to class, you mean ditching right? Cause no way I'm going to class now! I need a break already from her scaring me!
*Keefe grins at Tam and the boy rolls his eyes. They walk off to their favourite ditching place together*
