Chapter Text
“Rimi~chaa!” Merold calls out, happily trailing after Rimicha who does their best to run away from the pink haired knight “Don't you want to talk to mee?” He smiles as Rimicha wails “I don't wannaaaa!!” They cry out, turning the corner rather sharply causing Merold to stumble as he keeps up the pace, “Rimiiichan!” He quickens his pace as Rimicha continues running through Hello Kitty's castle.
“Just- ugh! Talk to me!” He yells at the other. He speeds up and tackles the other, causing them to yelp, “Gotcha!” He smiles down at Rimicha, all they do is squirm underneath him, “Let me gooo..” They whisper as they look away from him. Merold presses a finger to Rimicha's lip, “No. I don't think I will, Kirimi-Chan.”
“You've been avoiding me lately,” Merold's voice grows huskier and Rimicha can't help the flush of their cheeks, “I miss you soooooo much, Kirimi-Chan,” He whispers as he begins leaning down, “You won't even kiss me anymore..” Rimicha begins squirming even more as they try to push Merold off, “Maybe I should… kiss you myself?” Rimicha shakes their head, “N-no need-!” Merold doesn't listen to them however, leaning down as his lips draw closer and closer to Rimicha's own, “Eek!”
Rimicha wakes up with a jolt, they pant as they look up at the ceiling, a random poster of the popular gothic singer Kuromi staring them down from said ceiling.
“... I'm a fucking loser.”
They mumble to themself before getting out of bed, walking towards their bedroom door. They fumble with the doorknob for a moment before pushing over the door, walking out of their room and to the living room. They stare at the overly clean and untouched room, they wonder when was the last time they had dusted the place let alone been in it. They turn their gaze to the kitchen, on the counter lies their cellphone. Even if they know it's most likely dead by now the thought of even looking at the device brings about a sort of unease for Rimicha.
They look away and walk over to the couch, bending over it in order to grab the TV remote, maybe if they watched a movie or something they'd feel better about themself.
The TV boots up a little bit after Rimicha has to hit the remote against the couch in hopes of getting it working, the screen boots up to live news and the sight of a SEEDs.. or well Kaiju. Rimicha sighs, watching the screen as My Melody is slammed against a building.
They watch as Usahana fails to keep up with the SEEDs attack, “Where's Kirimi-Chan?!” She cries out to Marroncream who looks just as confused as the other.
Rimicha sighs, they really didn't want to leave their apartment today. They get up, tossing the remote onto their couch as they walk over to the curtains covering their balcony doors, pushing said curtains aside they open up the doors and step into the balcony, taking a deep breath.
They mumble something under their breath, climbing onto the balustrade and jumping off.
“Usahana watch out!” Marroncream calls out, summoning her threads even if she knows she won't make it in time. Luckily before the SEED can hurt Usanaha a large knife cuts it down, “Kirimi-Chan!” Usahana cries out in joy, hugging the much shorter one.
Kirimi-Chan only giggles, lightly patting Usahana's head, “Hana-Chan! Did you miss me~?” She asks, voice as sweet as saccharine, Marroncream can't help but furrow her brows. Kirimi-Chan has always been.. the peculiar one of the group, hiding more than even My Melody herself.
“Now then, allow me to help you all out,” She smiles, pulling away from Usahana, her body twisting as if she were to twirl. She arches her back, several utensils coming out of seemingly nowhere from her inside her corset. She tosses them at the SEED, only keeping a fork for herself to use in order to deflect the SEEDs attack. Yes, Marroncream thinks, Kirimi-Chan truly is an enigma, a magical girl with too much experience under her belt yet seemingly clueless about the world of magic.
Once the battle is over the six of them reunite, six.. It feels odd saying that but even since Princess Haru Ritt, daughter of Queen Haru Kitt and heir to the Hello Kitty kingdom, awakened her powers she's insisted on fighting side by side with them.
Marroncream smiles, remembering how clueless the princess used to be about Earth, being too used to the world of Mariland for far too long.
“U-uhm.. Ki..Kirimi-chan!” The princess calls out, stopping Kirimi-Chan from leaping away again. “The others and I. Uhm.. we..” My Melody interrupts the princess with a yawn, “We're all going out to eat in our civilian forms, Haru over here wants to know if you wanna come.” Kirimi-Chan smiles, “I'm a bit busy, apologies.” Usahana pouts but doesn't push back on it.
If in three years Kirimi-Chan couldn't bring herself to trust them what difference would the princess they fought to protect asking make? None at all, she was stubborn like that.
Kirimi-Chan stared at Usahana, mumbling a small apology before turning away. She quickly rushes off leaping up and landing on a street light, using it to boost herself onto a roof, the others don't bother to keep up with her retreating figure.
She doesn't want them to.
Rimicha lands on the balustrade of their balcony once more, transformation still active as their neighbor whistles at them, “Yo, Rimicha, made some noodles and there were leftovers,” he holds out the container of food. Rimicha takes it and nods, “Thanks,” they jump down onto the balcony and enter their apartment, once inside they let the transformation fade.
Back to the regular Rimicha, the boring Rimicha.
They wonder if the mere sight of them would disgust the others, it was funny, Haru's little question reminded them of something that had happened earlier in the week.
“Rimicha!” Hallritt called out to them, honestly, the rest of it was a blur but the sight of Merold, Romarriche, Puruth and… Sanah, standing near Hallritt, was enough to make their stomach turn.
In the end they slipped on their shoes as fast as they could and rejected the invite, opting to take the public bus home rather than just walk home like usual.
The memory leaves Rimicha feeling hungrier than they'd like.
“Found you,” someone hugs Rimicha from behind and they shriek, “Kirimi-Chan.. you sound so cute~ ♡” their blood runs cold at the name, they quickly turn around stumbling over their own feet, “Wh-who-?!” The stranger grabs them by the waist, “Me-melody?!” My Melody smiles, “That's me!” Rimicha squirms, trying to push her away.
She lets go and Rimicha falls backwards, “Ehhh? Rimi-chan, what happened?” They look up and where My Melody stood now stands Merold, “What the..” Merold smiles, crouching down, “Hi.”
Rimicha shrieks.
When they come to it's to the smell of food, a clean room and someone humming in the kitchen.
They roll over, staring at the open door, it doesn't prove useful as he can't see the person.
“Rimichaaa? Are you awake?” They can't bring themself to reply, let alone acknowledge Merold, Merold peeks out the kitchen and into the hallway, “Oh! You are! Good morning,” He smiles, Rimicha rolls over once again.
They'll deal with Merold after they sleep.
