Work Text:
Ludwig just stands there at the entrance of the park, standing straight like a high class officer in patrol. He seems to be waiting for someone, probably a date or a sixty foot tall gorilla dancing on rainbows from Silvia.
A few days ago, Feliciano asked Ludwig if he'd be fancy to go on a date with him at the park on a saturday in about half past ten AM and not surprisingly the german agreed. Now he is at the promised location about half a quarter earlier than agreed on. The park was mostly quiet, just a few birds chirping around, old people feeding the pigeons with crump's of bread while sitting on the old benches, and a few younger people walking around enjoying the simple breeze of morning air and the blooming daylilies accompanied with petunias next to them.
He stares into his watch, staring at the circle with numbers surrounding it and three sticks pointing at a number to show the time, tracking every ticked as the seconds pass. Occasionally his gaze will move up and glance around searching for a familiar face. He stands still patiently waiting for the supposed company.
His stoic and stiff posture earned him a few weird glances from passers-by around the park who probably assumed he is a secret FBI agent. But realistically no one actually even bothers to care about his presences.
Ludwig was getting slightly irritated that the person he was waiting for isn't coming right on time. They had promised to meet up at exactly half past ten AM and right now is ten thirty and fifty eight seconds PM forty minutes to twelve PM. He shifts his position, pacing from one leg to the other, slowly starting to get impatient from the lack of explanation too about where the other is at right now and what is taking him so long to just get to a nearby ten minutes walk park.
"Ludwig!" An annoying high pitch voice called Ludwig from a good distance, around 2078.56 pebbles and 4627.899 single grass away from where the blonde guy is standing.
Ludwig turned his head to the source of the familiar voice and there he sees Feliciano that's already fifty minutes and thirty nine seconds late to their date, running towards him like an idiot cheerfully like as if he didn't cause an insufferable impatience.
Feliciano jumped slightly to hug Ludwig causing the latter to get startled and stumbled a bit from the sudden unbalanced weight but managed to stay put on ground and embraced the stupid airheaded Italian. They pulled away from eachother after a few seconds, Feliciano looked at Ludwig with a sheepish smile with an apologetic gaze staring at the face of his beloved.
"Heh.. Sorry for being so late Luddy I forgot we already promised to go on a date this saturday and I overslept!" A whine from the brunette while waving his hands everywhere showing his genuine guilt while looking like an idiot. Ludwig sighs, not exactly mad at Feliciano and feeling bad looking at the italians guilty face.
"It'z alright, but you zhould really fix that mezzy zchedule of yourz. Let'z juzt get going now." The taller said with his usual deep dehydrated voice in a tired resigned tone but despite that he is still glad to spent time with Feliciano even if the shorter is always late to almost everything which honestly is very annoying.
"Really Ludwig? Your really fine with it? Alright let's!" the italian responded with an annoying ass voice that others questionable tolerate, his tone was excited and no longer any hint of guilt laced in it.
Without saying anything else, Feliciano dragged Ludwig into the park where they can see the beautiful variegated leaves and vibrant petals from petunias in the flower beds. The former dragged the latter towards a bench and the couple sat on one of the old benches in the park as they entwined their fingers while glancing around at their surroundings enjoying the peaceful place as they maintained occasional visual contact of each other via their peripheral fields.
After stretching out the silence on the bench for quite a while, the brunette's midsection led out a loud complaint showing it hasn't been stuffed with anything edible but air and stomach acid. The taller youth seated beside the empty stomach guy look at him after hearing the vociferous cry from the vacant stomach.
"You have not eaten anything? Not even breakfazt?" He asked, concern and worries evident in the way he ask. He stares at the venetian, his gaze concern about the other wellbeing and it's deafening angry grumble of the stomach. That may be an exaggeration.
So the two lovely couple went to go buy food and had a lovely date
Yes this is a lazy ending but hey I'm just a human.
