He takes a deep inhale of his cigarette,exhaling out of his nose as smoke comes out. Honestly he needed it because of the situation he was put in. He didn't want to be a dad but here he was watching this kid running around and having the time of his life near the river. He would rather be adventuring and having bizarre ones-wait actually this would probably count as one,somehow having unprotected hand holding and touching without him doing anything then having a kid pop out of nowhere. He's honestly now regretting it, babysitting duty isn't for him. Verity is lucky he's so nice and decided to stay or else he'd been gone.
"Dad! Come play with me!" His sons chirp out.
Lookout3d just ignores him, continues to smoke as his son frowns at him.
"I'm telling Papa you aren't being nice! Also smoking is bad for you!"
He sighs gently,"Tch. Fine fine I'll play." He answers his kid,putting out the cigarette and walks towards him.
"What do you wanna- wait what are you doing?!" His son started to freak out as he was being picked up by his father.
"Let's play go fish!" His father says before tossing him into the river with a loud splash, laughing loudly.
"I guess that was fun! Haha." Lookout said amused then immediately heard a loud crying.
"Oh shi-"
Hearing the door from the nearby house quickly open,followed by Verity running out very hostile and pissed.
"What. Happened." Verity grits his teeth at his beloved then looks at their son who's crying in the water,glaring at him before helping his son out of the water.
"Oops,kid musta fell in." Lookouted shrugs,acting like he didn't know what happened.
"Dad.. waahh.. threw me..." Their kid cries and sniffles while rubbing his eyes as Verity tries to comfort them.
"..I'll have a talk with him later... First let's get you dried up and taken care of." Verity gently says,hugging the child. Lifting him up in his arms then glares at his partner,"Don't go too far. I'mma make sure you'll learn your lesson.." before leaving.
Lookout gulps, feeling a little sweaty and not in the good way either,"Man I'm either gonna get killed or get dunked in the water. I'm not finding out either way. Welp time to be a dead beat dad and leave." He quickly runs away but knows he'll get found but y'know yolo or whatever.
