Work Text:
Time around me stops for a while
The plants and flowers wither in their pots
My toothbrush sits still and dry
My room slowly fills with clothes and regret
Days merge together during summer,
Just as my thoughts do
My books rest, untouched
The fruit in the kitchen wrinkles like and old man,
Fruit flied flood the kitchen along my disgust, but soon, they swarm me instead
They surround my still body
But I still breathe
I still cry
But during summer, I can only turn on my side,
And ignore my apartment that slowly rots away with me.
