CHAPTER 1: Green Hills, Birds Singing, & Beautiful Pink Roses.
It was around when America became independent & was focused on his nation. He seemed happy about how everyone was chill & relaxed.
Alfred had explored his nation looking through villages & farmland & much more. He was proud to see how everyone was thriving! Until he saw something.
A person with brown hair. Not too long nor short. You couldn't tell if it was a man or woman. It was feeding their horse a nice tasty apple. Either way, he didn't expect someone to be out here.
"Uhm, you okay out here? Do you need directions?" Alfred asked the stranger.
The stranger turned around—oh it's a man. A white man with brown medium cut hair, glasses, Goatee stubble, brown cost with fur on the collar, a white button up, black vest, a white jabot with an opal gem, black pants, & black boots.
The man smiled & put tossed the core of the eaten apple away since the horse literally ate it all. "Ah, no. I'm just passing by. I'm just learning my way around the place as I go. I'm L'manberg, also known as Wilten, Soon to have my nation gain its independence. What about you, hm?" Wilten explained & asked him.
America smiled back at the man. "Oh, I'm America. Also known as Alfred! I'm glad to hear your nation is going to get its independence soon, L'manberg!" Alfred replied. He seemed happy that another nation was gaining it's independence like how he did with England.
"America? Oh my God! You've inspired me to take my independence! Without you, my courage to break free from the Dream Nation would never be possible! You're like a hero to me!" Wilten Fanboy'ed out a bit. I tried to seem calm in front of his idol but couldn't help it. The horse next to Wilten snorted, as mocking his excitement in sarcasm.
Alfred chuckled at his excitement & that Wilten called him a 'Hero'. "Haha! I'm glad to help you, L'Manberg. Now, L'Manberg? Why don't we become friends? I can try to help you gain independence if you want!" Alfred suggested.
"I would love the honor to be friends, America. But I must decline help. As you gained independence yourself, I shall try to do the same. Then again, thank you for the offer, America." Wilten explained as he got back on his horse.
Alfred seemed a bit concerned. "You sure? I mean, I understand, L'Manberg. But please be careful out there, L'Manberg. It can be difficult to win your independence, especially as a lone nation yourself." Alfred asked.
Wilten stayed cheerful as ever. "I believe I can do it, Sir America. Now, I must head back to my journey. I'll keep in touch, America!" Wilten replied.
"A-Ah! See you soon. L'Manberg!" Alfred rushed to say as Wilten had left with his horse.
Unfortunately, the two nations didn't keep in touch. They couldn't message each other because they forgot to mention addresses. Fucking DUMBASSES.
CHAPTER 2: Gallop On!
It's been almost decades. An insane amount of time but it's been about a decent amount of time.
Alfred was walking around some new found landscape he planned to conquer—AND I MEAN A LOT OF LANDSCAPE!.... cmon man. You have 50 states. You DONT need 5 more states or any more!
As Alfred walked around, he noticed buildings in the far distance.
"Awh snap! This land is already taken... I meaaannnn... I COULD pay them to get out!" Alfred spoke to himself.
Alfred immediately ran towards the land. Eager to get more land. "Maybe I call it 'Wilero'. After him! Wilten & the word hero...or L'Manhero!.. that sounds like a superhero name—I SHOULD NAME A SUPERHERO AFTER HIM! Yeah. Great idea, me! >:D" Alfred thought to himself as he entered the nation. He noticed it was bigger than expected. It looked small but he was SO wrong. I mean, it had a border with what looks like.. Obsidian!? Damn these guys hella rich! Not to mention black & yellow on top. Sweet!...and a hotdog van? Yooo!
Alfred head to the van & saw no one inside. Awh. No business today Iguess.
Alfred frowned. "Awh. I was hungry. :(" Alfred complained. He continued walking around.
He saw there were a few people walking around. They seemed to look at him weird. He was confused why until he realized they were wearing the same uniform & he wasn't. He kept trying to walk by & find the leader till he heard people scream from behind him.
"AN OUTSIDER! AND WORSE AN AMERICAN!" how you might ask 'how tf do they know that?'...the American patch on his arm, noticed him immediately go to the hotdog cart, & his jacket. You'd think they'd like the Americans considering the leader—OH SHIT THEY'RE CHASING HIM.
Alfred panicked & started fleeing.
"I JUST WANTED TO FIND YOUR GUY'S LEADER!!! \。(°>Д<°)。/" Alfred screamed as he rushed towards what seemed to be a government building. He ran in & closed the door, rushing to the office to meet the leader as guards tried to get him out.
Alfred immediately ran into the office & closed the doors behind him. Holding it back.
"A-Ah—Are you the leader? Firstly—YOUR CITIZENS ARE INSANE! Secondly, I have a proposal—" He cut himself off when he realized who the person was.
Wilten. L'Manberg, if you will..
Oh and the president of L'Manberg(Wilbur) I guess...OH! And Tommy!
Alfred smiled at Wilten. "Ay! L'Manberg! It's me! Alfred! America! I see you gained independence! How's it hanging, man?" Alfred asked.
Wilten looked up from looking at Wilbur & Tommy doing paperwork & smiled at him. A light gleaming in their eyes & they immediately ran up to Alfred & hugged him tight & spun him like a princess.
"OH MY FUCKING XD! IT'S YOU! I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN AGES! I MISSED YOU SO MUCHHHH!!!" Wilten practically screamed as he hugged Alfred tight.. Jesus Christ the height difference is scary.(Alfred=5'9.6. Wilten=6'8.5)
Tommy just started at the two. Wilbur also looked up from his work to stare at the two nations.
".....L'Manberg you do know we don't allow non-Europeans here—" Tommy was cut off from L'Manberg who was ignoring him.
"OH AMERICA! WE'VE WON THE WAR & BUILT A WONDERFUL NATION! WE'VE EVEN BASED IT OFF YOU!" Wilten Explained with such joy in their eyes.
"okay don't give the prideful bastard more of a boost in his—" Then Wilbur was cut off.
"OH AMERICA! I NEED TO SHOW YOU EVERYTHING!" Wilten said & ran off with America in his arms who was confused & happy at the same time.
CHAPTER 3: Just happy to be apart of the story, arent you?
Alfred stayed close to Wilten. Since he almost got attacked by L'Manberg's citizens he's been a little on edge...plus loosing Wilten again seemed horrible to him.
Wilten was holding Alfred's hand tight & dragging him everywhere to see all what L'Manberg had to offer. Wilten even got a hotdog for him. What a sweet guy even though his citizens are the complete opposite. :D
The two sat down for awhile, catching up.
"So, L'Manberg—" Alfred stopped mid sentence to chew & swallow his hotdog "—how's it hanging? See ya won your independence & I'm glad! But, what's new with you since last I saw you?" Alfred asked. Still eating.
Wilten smiled & Chuckled. "Well, for starters, I'm doing swell since you appeared! It's been decades since I saw you & being around my leaders is BORING! There wasn't many people to speak to! Especially my stupid twin brother... he's no fun anyways—"
Alfred coughed & wheezed on his hotdog hearing that Wilten had a BROTHER. A twin, at fact... "*COUGH* *COUGH* *WHEEZE*—H-HOL-Hold—*COUGH COUGH*—up..." Alfred paused for a moment to calm down. When he did he looked up at Wilten. "A Twin BROTHER!? And you never told me?" Alfred asked
If I had a nickel every time I wrote about twin siblings I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it has happened twice...anyways back to the fic.
Wilten seemed concerned Alfred was slightly choking but calmed down when Alfred recovered. He became more shocked when Alfred asked. "Yes? Didn't you get my messages? My letters?" Wilten said, confused.
...Messages? Letters?
"N-No? I haven't gotten any since I met you!" Alfred explained
Wilten froze.
"Th-Then where have they been going to!? I asked people for your address & they all gave the same answer so I sent it there! Who have I been sending letters too?...I thought you were busy so you couldn't answer but...I guess that explains a lot!" Wilten replied.
Alfred raised an eyebrow "You've been messaging me? I've been messaging YOU! I thought you were busy with the independence thing or ghosting me!"
".....did we both get wrong addresses & wrote to random strangers?"
"Definitely.. what's worse I just sent a message to you this morning..."
"Shit... I did too."
MEANWHILE
"Ugh... Bloody hell... another sappy letter from that L'Manberg country to America! I thought I told someone to write to them this is the WRONG ADDRESS!" Arthur groaned as he read the letter.
"I mean, come on... 'Dear America, you haven't written back in decades. It's sad, I know. I'm probably annoying you'—pffft, their DEFINITELY annoying me—'but I hope one day we could gather someday & talk about what's new. I hope to see you soon! —Love, Wilten, Your L'Manberg.'....that sign-off was a little... queer....are these two gay?"
Arthur paused before rolling his eyes. He burned the letter like always & continued paper work.
MEANWHILE... AGAIN.
"Stupid.. Stupid STUPID! WHY IS HE ALWAYS INTENDING TO SEND THESE TO HER!? I SHOULD BE GETTING RECOGNIZED FOR BEING A DAMN GREAT COUNTRY BUT NO! HES ON HIS FAT FUCKING ASS WRITING LOVE LETTERS TO HER!" Jared Yelled in annoyance & threw the crumbled letter into the trash which it fell out from the pile of DOZENS UPON DOZENS of letters.
"I don't even know what America sees in my twin sister... I mean, I haven't seen her in awhile & theres no way shes popular enough to get the eye of America... unless those two met—" Jared cut himself off & got up from his chair quick, slamming his fist on the table & hiding his face in his hands. "FUCK THAT MEANS THEY'RE CLOSE IF THEY'RE SENDING MESSAGES—THE FIRST ONE WAS TALKING ABOUT THEM MEETING TF AM I ON ABOUT!?"
Jared paced around the room... mainly around his desk.
"She's already being called an amazing country & has so much land... and what do I have? Small land & barely anyone speaks about Manberg.. ME!"
Jared slammed a fist on the desk & sat back down, still pissed. Despite him whining about having barely any land, he infact has equal land as L'Manberg. He's just a greedy bastard. I mean, he's also sold some land for money, but that's his fault. (¬、¬)
"Oh... one day... one day I'll be great again.. And Schlatt with make sure..."
CHAPTER 4: After you, I follow.
Wilten & Alfred were walking back to the building. Smiling as they held each other's hands.
"So, L'Manberg! After telling me all this insane stuff, I unfortunately couldn't hear due to me not getting the letters, I'm surprised all that happened." Alfred spoke, looking ahead before looking back. "I mean, I never expected you to have a brother. Especially the fact you both had to choose who got what side of land & came to an agreement."
"It's truly an honor that I got the east side & my brother let himself take the west." Wilten replied."I mean, I would love to swap since the west wasn't the best land, but I'm sure he's doing well & making the land look brand new!"
Alfred & Wilten entered the building & Wilten smiled.
"Well, it's awfully late. I can get someone to get the guest room prepared & you can rest. For the meanwhile I must introduce you to Tommy!..and his brother."
"...why did you say the last part like you hate him?"
"Because I do. He never really rubbed me the right way but everyone will slaughter me if I say something bad about him."
"...okay then?"
Alfred entered the room & sat down in the chair infront of the desk.
"Hey.. you must be Tommy & his brother, right?" Alfred asked.
Tommy looked up & smiled.
"Uh, yes. I'm Tommyinnt. The guy with brown hair is Wilbur."
Alfred nodded & held his hand out for a handshake. The 3 both shook each other's hands.
"I'm America, obviously. But you can call me Alfred as well." Alfred introduced himself. "It's amazing to see you both as president & vice president of L'Manberg!"
Tommy nodded & sat back down next to Wilbur.
"Thank you, very much, for visiting us here, Mr. Alfred." Tommy spoke. "It's unexpected that a country would come here. Did you need something?"
Alfred was gonna speak but paused. He remembered why he wanted to come here. For land. But he didn't wanna admit that considering if L'Manberg knew about this their friendship might be a little fucked.
"Ah, I just wanted to find my good old friend L'Manberg!—"
"Then why didn't you do it decades ago?"
Alfred paused at Wilbur's comment.
"..what?" Alfred seemed nervous. "Why I didn't search earlier? Well, my country was still in the making & I was focused. My next goal after that was to find him!"
Wilbur looked at Alfred up & down & rolled his eyes. "Yeah, right." Wilbur sat up straighter in his chair. "What are you REALLY after for, Alfred?"
Alfred stared at his lap for awhile. He looked back at the door & back at Wilbur.
"...I originally came here for land. To buy it, at least."
Wilbur had a cocky smile
"I. Fucking. Knew. It." Wilbur Chuckled & leaned back in his chair. "So, Alfred. You're just here for the land. Well I'll tell you this—you aren't getting shit. Doesn't matter the money doesn't matter shit. I'm not selling L'Manberg."
Alfred frowned. "Listen, the more land the merrier, right? You can't blame me! I'll even offer 500,000 dollars—"
"Isn't your country in debt because of your president? What money can you get for—" Wilbur was cut off from Alfred slamming his hands on the desk.
"DONT ASK! WE GET OUR MONEY FROM SOMEWHERE! BUT PLEASE! I BEG!—" Alfred was cut off from the door creaking open.
"...America... you aren't trying to buy me, right? You're joking..." Wilten muttered. Shocked as he stared at Alfred's audacity of trying to buy them for land.
Alfred quickly got up & grabbed him by the shoulders. "NO! No.. L'Manberg, I wasn't gonna... please you—"
Wilten didn't wanna hear any more & shoved him away.
"ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS!? I WAITED DECADES TO SEE YOU ONCE AGAIN!" Wilten grabbed Alfred by the collar with one hand. "I THOUGHT WE COULD WORK TOGETHER & BE THE BEST COUNTRIES SIDE BY SIDE BUT NO! YOU CAME HERE BECAUSE OF YOUR FUCKING GREED!"
Alfred held Wilten's free hand & Wilten's cheek. Wilten paused & looked confused & a little embarrassed.
"Wh—What th—the fu—fuck a—are Y—YOU D-DOING?" Wilten stammered out
Alfred teared up.
"L'Manberg... please don't be mad at me.. my greed was too much, I know..." Alfred paused. Thinking what to say next. "...But, I will not buy you if it makes you happy. I'll even leave & never return..."
Wilten stared at him for awhile. Before he could respond Tommy spoke
"Are you two kissing?" Tommy said, confused.
....bffr rn.
"NO???" the two nations yelled.
