An Italian-American Weregubby in Builder Brothers' Pizza

Summary:

About 2 weeks ago I made a poll on my Tumblr asking what fanfic they wanted me to work on next and this one was the least voted one, so I started writing this one because I'm evil :) (I promise I'll work on the winner option soon)

plot summary I wrote on google docs: Pizza delivery twink gets bitten by a wild gubby one time and then gets a bit quirky at night 😏

This is definitely one of my more lighthearted fanfics (by that I mean comedy was more of a focus in this one), don't expect this to be a norm. Also the title is obviously a reference to An American Werewolf in London.

Chapter Text

Elliot hopped on his moped as he got ready to make his last delivery for the night. Two large pizzas; one pepperoni, one supreme, easy-peasy! And the house wasn't too far away, either! A perfect delivery to end his shift.

Elliot eventually found the right address and stopped his moped right in front of the residents’ mailbox. The house was just a block or two away from Robloxia City’s state park, autumn leaves blew from the nearby woods and over to the cul-de-sac where piles were already starting to build. Elliot walked up the steps while holding the two large pizza boxes until he soon reached the door and knocked on it,

“One large pepperoni and one large supreme for you!” Elliot chimed once the door opened,

The woman on the other side of the door thanked Elliot as she took the boxes from his arms and brought out her wallet,

“Aren't you cold?” The woman asked after paying Elliot, “It's only 50° out there and you're not wearing a jacket!”

“I'll be fine,” Elliot waved with a limp wrist, “I'm just about to go home anyways!”

“Alright, have a good night! Drive safe!” The woman smiled and waved goodbye right before closing the door,

Elliot smiled to himself: Another job well done, now time to get home.

As he walked down the steps of the house, he noticed something moving near his moped. He stepped slowly so as not to scare whatever was there. Once he got close enough, he could see that the thing was a gubby.

“Aww! Hey there, little guy!” Elliot whispered as he offered his hand for the gubby to sniff,

“Would you mind hopping away from my moped?” He quietly requested, “I don't wanna accidentally hit you with it.”

The gubby sat there and looked up at Elliot like he was crazy - I mean, he was talking to an animal that didn't understand English, so maybe that wasn't too far off. Elliot waved his hand at the gubby and tried to shoo it away,

“Shoo! Shoo!” He quietly repeated,

The gubby didn't budge,

“Go on, little guy, shoo!” Elliot kept waving at it,

Still no movement, aside from the gubby tilting its head a little to the side.

Elliot decided to just hop on the moped, hoping it would scare the gubby off. Once he sat on top of it, he started shooing at the gubby again but with his foot. When the gubby refused to move once again, Elliot decided to rev the engine. He twisted the throttle, causing the engine to make a loud sound that scared the gubby. In fear, the gubby jumped before sinking its teeth into the back of Elliot's right ankle.

Elliot shrieked and started to shake his ankle, scaring the gubby once again but this time causing it to run away.

Elliot cursed under his breath as he began to drive out of the cul-de-sac. His ankle stung the whole ride home, he would have to bandage it up as soon as he could.

Once he parked his moped outside the pizza place, Elliot walked inside and grabbed the first aid kit from the kitchen. He sat down on the first chair he could find and wiped any blood off his ankle with a paper towel, he then grabbed an antibacterial wipe from the first aid kit and began to dab it on the open wound. The wipe somehow stung even more than the bite itself, he flinched as he continued to wipe. After he was done with that, he grabbed a band-aid and put it over the bite.

Once he was done at the pizza place, he went back on his moped and drove to his house.

Elliot's sister, Mia, greeted him as soon as he came in through the door,

“You're late today.” Mia remarked as she hugged her brother, “Did you have another crazy customer?”

“Haha, not this time,” Elliot replied, patting Mia on the head, “I just got distracted by a gubby is all.”

Elliot took off his shoes and walked into the living room, Mia following shortly after,

“Is Papà still at the dump?” Elliot asked, looking around the room,

“He just got back a few minutes ago.” Mia responded, “He should be in the kitchen-”

“There's my little delivery boy!” Mr. Builder suddenly speedwalked into the living room and hugged Elliot, “Workin’ hard or hardly workin’, bambino?”

“Hello to you, too, Papà!” Elliot chuckled, “You know me, always workin' hard!”

“I'm gonna go get out of my uniform now,” Elliot said as he slid out of his dad's arms, “I'll be right back.”

As Elliot started walking away, both Mr. Builder and Mia noticed that Elliot was limping,

“You ok, Elliot? Mr. Builder asked,

“Yeah, you're walking funny.” Mia added,

“Hm? Oh yeah, I'm fine! It's just that a gubby bit my leg earlier today.” Elliot answered,

“A wild gubby?” Mia asked,

“Maybe? I dunno.” Elliot shrugged,

“Let's hope it didn't give you any diseases!” Mr. Builder exclaimed,

“If I notice anything weird, I'll schedule a doctor appointment, don't worry!” Elliot replied before going upstairs to his room.
