Just a random plot bunny I had after reading Wrath of the Triple Goddess and wondering what would've happened if Sally decided to study under Hecate as a witch.
There's not much here, really, just Sally being a BAMF and learning to use magic. I kind of wonder how manipulating the Mist would be for her since she sees completely through it. Sally probably sees a lot of stuff no one else does, not even most demigods. And maybe the fanfiction would also have an explanation as to why clear-sighted people exist and what else they can do in a world full of mythological beings.
Oh, and when Sally has Percy, she uses magic to protect him, so no Gabe here. Yay!
Hecate also shows up every once in a while at the Jackson home because she just knows that Percy is a person who has a lot of crossroads in his path and is someone who will make important decisions with ramifications for nearly everyone. He also pet sits for her.
So Percy finds out he's a demigod sooner but he also learns how to manipulate the Mist and gets some early self-defense lessons. Not too shabby.
