Chapter Text
“Wow, your brother is kind of a baby isn’t he?”
He only sniffled at the comment as his face had been flooded with tears.
“It’s hilarious.”
He recognized that voice-It was the voice of his older brother. The one who was supposed to protect him and be a role model like all older brothers were to their younger siblings, He thought. No, there would not be a universe where Michael would be nice. He could feel the anger bubbling up in his chest, but it was once again overshadowed with anxiety like all the times Michael decided to prank him.
What is Michael and his friends going to do with me?
They always did something to him on his own birthday, but he had a feeling this one would be a bit more different.
What would dad think? He thought, and the guilt rushed through his veins. He would supposed to be ‘proper’ and ‘well-mannered’ for his birthday party. Not here bawling his eyes out..
“Why don’t we help him get a closer look! He will love it!” Michael said.
And it was then that he had realized what they were going to do. They were going to bring him close to the animatronics. How close? He didn’t want to know, he grew silent for a second and his ragged breathing and the sounds of children's laughter was the only thing that was heard.
He couldn’t let them. Couldn’t it be this time, this one time that their father would help him and punish Michael? Why was it that Michael always got what he wanted? It wasn’t fair.
“No! Please!” He was now trying to stop himself from choking on his suppressed sobs. They can't do this. The shaking that was once not all that noticeable became so visible it was concerning.- concerning to anyone other than Michael and his friends..
It was also then that Michael took a good look at him for the first time since they came. He could already sense the grin growing on the young boy’s face.
“Come on guys,--” Michael looked at his friends,
“—Let’s give this little man a lift. He wants to get up close and personal!”
He hated it when Michael called him that. It was like Michael mocked him for…Well in some sense he was right.. He admitted.
Thoughts then flew past his head,
They-they can't do this, right?
This..This has to be a joke.
He doesn't-he DOESN'T mean that we're getting close to the animatronics.
He tried to reason with himself and give explanations for what Michael had said, but deep down he knew that he was just delaying the inevitable and they would bring him closer to them.
He looked up and saw Michael step towards him – He was serious? N-no. That can't be true.
His friends behind pushed him up to his feet, he was too late to try to defend himself and only tried to kick his feet and get out of their grasps after they already got their hands under his armpits. Lifting him up, he kicked his feet with all the force he can muster, he once hoped he would hit Michael in the face with his arm, as Michael was behind him, but the thought soon left and was left with even more underlying dread that was slowly creeping under his skin.
He snapped his eyes closed as hard as he could, and began the show of tossing, squirming, and kicking his feet out to try to get them to let him down.
It didn’t work.
no, no no no no no no NO!
He let out a dragged and desperate shrill, like a girl, and he could hear Michael giggle at that. Laughing, even. He doesn't want to guess whether Michael is laughing at his scream or what he's thinking about what he's going to do to him. He doesn't know which one is worse.
“No! I don’t want to go!”
He looked down. He could only see a bonnie, Chica and Freddie mask guiding him to his fate, he didn’t know why this was like he was going to die. It just did.
There was now a thick layer of sweat all over the boy’s body, from anxiety and the 'exercise'. He was now getting tired and his movements started becoming more uncontrolled and weaker.
He looked around.
Where was everyone? Did he just not see them? Where was dad? Is he going to help him and finally punish Michael for the torment I've gone through?..
No. And deep down he knew that, but he didn’t want to give himself more pain in his heart as he had already had. It was just too much to store.
“You heard the little man! He wants to get even closer! Ha ha ha!”
No. I DON’T WANT TO GET CLOSER!
But he couldn’t bring himself to talk, he thrashed again and again, it was useless, which he was slowly beginning to realize. He now started trying to turn his head every way to check if someone was going to stop this.
..There..Was someone..! He realized,
Actually, 2 people, security guards, screaming at the teenagers,
“HEY! KIDS, STOP THAT! DON’T GET ANY CLOSER! IT’S DANGEROUS!”
..They kept screaming at them.
They're actually trying to help..! he thought hopefully for a second
For a moment he almost let himself calm down, but he then felt himself be liftin more up
"hey guys, I think the little man said he wants to give Fredbear a big kiss!"
...
He stilled for just a second.
..What? N-no. This can't be real, they can't-won't bring me up to its mouth.
he then came face first with the animatronic that haunted his dreams.
He gasped and almost fell to the ground when the teens began putting his head in the animatronic as he tried to clutch the animatronics head as strongly as possible, thinking that he might just get his neck messed up if he fell.
His breathing became more intense.
Am I going to die?
He then opted to try to pull his head out, he was stuck.
The teeth dug into his neck, and he could feel a bruise coming in.
A mechanic of sounds soon came from the animatronic...Like snapping..It sounded like the mouth was going to close again. He could still hear the singing coming from the aniamtronic.
"3"
They're...Counting.
"2"
I am going to die.
"1"
...Why, michael?
As his breathing became hoarser, his voice finally came through, and he gave a cry so loud it was sure to be heard from outside the restaurant, and then the sounds stopped in the animatronic.
What?
Pain filled his head and for a split second, he thought he might just pass out on the spot.
what happened? How did this happen?
...Why did people let it happen?
He closed his eyes, seeing the blood trail along his face.
Then everything was quiet.
He was scared. He was always scared.
…
He opened his eyes, expecting a hospital bed, or such. Even his bedroom, hoping it was a dream and it was actually today that was his birthday party, where Michael would be nice for once and allow him to keep to himself and stay under the tables..
But no, it was a black void, he blinked in confusion, and he noticed he was still visibly shaking, he looked down and felt the burn on his eyes again, he bit his lip and squinted his eyes, finally allowing him to cry the most openly he had ever cried.
“Can you hear me?”
He gave a little gasp and looked forward, and saw his fredbear plush right infront of him, as well as his other plushies behind fredbear.
This gave him a little sense of relief, after everything, fredbear was still with him.
“I don’t know if you can hear me.”
..T-that doesn’t sound like fredbear?
And after a long pause, he heard the voice come again, though quietly and muffled, like it was trying to avoid crying, or maybe had been crying.
“…I’m sorry.”
Sorry? To me? Why would anyone apologize to me?..
...
“Your broken.”
He looked forward again, recognizing the voice of his favorite plushie.
“We are still your friends.”
He…didn’t know what to think..Why was he so scared? He feels so scared, but no cry is escaping him now, he looked down and clutched his fist. He could still feel his lip trembling though.
“Do you still believe that?”
He looked up confused,
What? Of course I do!..You all were—and are the only friends I have ever made!.
Even though he knows they aren’t exactly real like a human is, they’re good enough comfort that most people wouldn’t provide him.
“I’m still here.”
...
“I will put you back together.”
…Put me back together?..W-what about Michael? And-and Elizabeth? Or dad? Where are they? I’m not dead…Am i?
He looked once again at his lap, he was still shaking slightly, but it was an incredible improvement compared to how he was doing the minute before, and his breathing had grown less contorted. He honestly didn’t know why he was so calm here..
He looked forward once again, expecting the familiar and comforting face of fredbear, but it was all gone. His friends were gone.
That was fredbear’s parting message.
The
sound
of
a
beep
became
louder
and
louder
as
the
voices
grew
softer.
and then a beep that seemed to never end came.
and at once it became quiet again.
The void didn't look very welcoming every second he stayed there.
