Across the weird land...
An echo of Eggchan is laughing about something with Wemmbu.
Maybe they're exploring.
Maybe Egg's pointing at something cool he found.
Maybe Wemmbu in the echo rolls his eyes.
Then...
The scene ends.
It starts over.
Egg laughs again.
Points again.
Same smile.
Same everything.
Over.
And over.
And over.
Wemmbu keeps watching. What else is he supposed to do? Come to terms with the fact that Eggchan is gone? No. He wasn’t ready for that.
Jaden just stands there, seeing Wemmbu just sit there and watch the echoes.
"...Wemmbu?"
No response.
"...You've been here this whole time?"
Jaden wanted to ask so many things.
“What are you doing here?”
“Why are you here?”
So many more
But he knew the answer to those questions.
"...He's still here."
Wemmbu mumbles, not looking away from the echo. It had repeated quite a few times by now. You would think that he would move, or do something else. But he doesn’t.
Jaden looks at the echo.
It walks through the same motions again.
And then he realizes something.
Wemmbu isn't waiting for Eggchan to come back in any way. He isn’t hoping that maybe Eggchan isn’t dead. He knows that.
He's just...
Watching every echo he can find.
Because they're all he has left.
Then Jaden asks,
"...How long have you been here?"
Wemmbu doesn't answer immediately.
he watches another loop finish before saying
"...I don't know."
How could he know? He probably doesn’t care about time right now when it seems like his entire world has just shattered.
“I’m sorry to ask this right now… but Wemmbu… we need you. Please. There’s a lot of stuff going on and we need your help.”
Jaden seemed slightly reluctant to ask.
I mean, who would really want to ask a grieving person to help them with something. Seems a little rude.

An echo is something you find in the farlands, (which u probably know what the farlands are) and like its kinda like a video replaying over and over. You can't interact with them, you can't hit them, nothing. They just replay. Pretty sure echos are only people (unless you would count zams empire idk)
