Okay this is fine, Arin thought as he and the team went out to have a group bonding by going to the funfair that was outside the Ninjago city. He suggested that since its been a few years especially him and Frak hasn’t went there again.
That’s also a good idea to bring the whole team there, actually that’s just an excuse for Frak because he wanted to go on a date with Obscuria. So he planned the ideas to Arin and the team, so yeah they all went to the funfair. Except, when they all arrived there each of them already had their own plans. Obviously Frak went with Obscuria to the mirror house, Roby and Wyldfyre went to play the shoot the ball game, and Euphrasia and Percival instead went to buy some food. That only left Sora and Arin alone, “so.. Where should we go? I have never gone to this funfair before” Sora said as she was mesmerized by her surroundings.
“How about the haunted house or maybe the shooting game? I heard there's a cat plushie as a prize” he suggests while he waits for Sora’s answer. But the pink haired girl was still looking around while thinking about it. She then tugged at his hoodie and pointed out at the giant rollercoaster, “let’s go ride that” she suggested as Arin looked ahead to the rollercoaster. It was a really big and extreme ride, to be fair Arin never really liked rollercoasters back then or even now. That made him nervous and unsure about this since well he kinda disliked that ride but he also didn’t want to upset Sora.
He then tried to suggest another attraction, but before he could say anything Sora was already dragging him into the line for the ride with a big wide happy face. “C’mon, the line isn’t that long!” she said as some of them were already lining up. And so here he was already back at the first point again.
With now his mind panicking inside, he looked over to Sora's face as she hummed happily. Enjoying this funfair more than she or Arin thought when at first she wasn't that excited in the first place. “I can’t believe the funfair was that amazing! I thought it would be boring like the time Imperium held a funfair, but when I saw it here? I think I will enjoy this day with you and the others!” she exclaimed and thanked Arin for taking her to this funfair. Arin let out a small sigh and smiled at her, “anytime, I think you would enjoy more after this. There’s a lot of games with the prize being cat plushies” he said, which makes Sora even more happy than she's ever been.
“Then what are we waiting for? Let’s ride the rollercoaster and go to those games!” she excitedly said as now their turn was right ahead. Arin was now visibly nervous and took a big breath, “yeah, let’s get this done quickly”. So now they ride the rollercoaster and oh boy, the attraction was really really that high.
Arin was thinking a second thought, but before he could say anything they were already gone down with their ride, and he screamed while Sora cheered with much excitement.
5 minutes later the ride was finished, and Arin was still in a state of shock when he dropped down the ride and walked wobbly. Sora had to steady him as she let out a small fit of giggling, “that was a fun ride. Where should we go next?” she asked him as Arin took another breath, “maybe we should just slow down first? I’m still shaking with all of that intensive ride back there…” he shivered. Sora chuckles as she walks by his sides, taking his hands to her as she leads them ahead to the next destination. Arin then took a small glance at her, and he couldn’t help but only just smiled at her expression. Maybe this was worth his dignity to see her this bright with happiness.
