It was currently 7:38pm.Izuku Midoriya took about 25 minutes to walk home on a regular day. Today was not in fact a regular day.

At 3:00pm Izuku Midoriya started packing up to get leaving.He was leaving earlier than most students because no extracurricular wanted the weird,antisocial,outcasted,Quirkless kid.Ah yes the Quirkless word that had plagued his miserable life from the second he got back from the doctor’s visit that haunting day.

At 3:10pm Katsuki Bakugo,long fingers and whatever Katsuki called the other one barged into the classroom.They did a lot of talking but Izuku could only make out faint murmurs it’s like his head is underneath water,the product of disassociating.
He was forced again to feel when Katsuki put his sparking hand on Izuku shoulder.‘2nd degree burns at least.’Izuku thought as he stared blankly with empty eyes at the hand on his shoulder.He slowly tore his gaze away from the burning sensation and to Katsuki faux smile .
“Here’s a little word of advice nerd don’t even think of applying or else.” ‘Applying?’ Izuku questioned. ‘ He must be mad about earlier in the day when Koichi sensei talked about my applying to UA '’ Katsuki took his hand off Izuku's shoulder,and started walking and as a result so did his lackeys.
“That’s just sad” The one’s name Izuku couldn’t remember taunted. “I thought you’d atleast have some fight in you”.Long fingers continued. “He finally gets it. He’ll never be a hero”
Izuku started to pack again after having all his stuff messed up.When he couldn’t find his hero analysis book he looked out the window and saw it floating in the koi pond wet and burnt. ‘Hmm he must have done that when I was out.’
“Hey Deku”Great just when he had almost forgotten that they were still in the room. “Y’know”Katsuki continued. “If you want to be a hero that bad why don’t you take a swan dive while wishing for a quirk”.That made Izuku pause he turned around wide eyed and and angry only to be threatened by Katsuki sparking an explosion again.Izuku quickly turned back to avoid anymore trouble.

At 3:19pm Izuku Midoriya was outside the Aldera Junior High building and trying his best to fish his notebook out of the pool without getting it any wetter.
“Stupid Katsuki what the hell is his problem telling people to off themselves. ‘You know if I did it,it could get him blacklisted from UA’.Izuku finally got a hold of his notebook but tripped along the way and landed on the pavement.
“Or they could also ignore the suffering of the quirkless kid,as usual.”

At 3:21pm Izuku Midoriya finally started walking home. Izuku looked at his notebook. His soggy chared notebook ‘Allmight can I ever hope to be like you?’His face scrunched with tears slowly running down his cheeks,he hugged his notebook close to his chest and cried into it. “Can I be a hero too?”.In his emotional state Izuku didn’t hear the clatter of the sewer cap when someone came out of it. “Hero,huh kid?”
Hearing another voice in what he thought was an empty tunnel surprised Izuku.He turned around to see who was talking to him.

At 3:24 the sludge villain attacked.To Izuku surprise there was a 8 foot tall glob of black slime.
“You want to be a hero?” The sludge person continued, “Well you’re a bit smaller than I’d normally go other but I suppose you’ll be a nice fit.”Before Izuku could even think of replying, the slime person had advanced.
Izuku opened his mouth to yell or call for attention but it was filled with the repulsive slime it was filling his mouth and nostrils. Izuku couldn’t breathe. He was scratching at the slime but it did nothing to the gooey liquid body of the villain. “Hey kid chill out will ya it’ll only take a minute so why don’t ya make it easier for the both of us.”
‘This is it,I never even got the chance to apply for UA or take the entrance exam’ Izuku thought about everything he had been through in the land of the living. ‘No more bullying,No more fear,No more Quirkless Useless Deku.’
And just like that, Izuku had accepted his fate and relaxed his body like he was already dead.
“Eh?,so you understand huh?Thanks kid,you’re a real hero.”
‘Hero?’Izuku thought atleast I was helpful to someone,Izuku closed his eyes.
Now maybe in another universe Izuku Midoriya had really died in that moment,and he’ll he should have died in this one too.I t would have saved him the trouble of experiencing the rest of the day.Maybe in another world,but certainly not this one.
