Work Text:
“You look like a Shih Tzu with that hair.”
There is no heat in those words, only warmth as Kei's usual teasing tone dips into something soft and fond and utterly enamoured.
You raise your eyebrows at your future husband (so he hopes). “Ah, so you're saying I'm a dog? Ganon ba, Keki?”
In lieu of an answer, Kei places his hands on your shoulders. The touch is grounding and firm, laden with the want to hold you in his arms and have you pressed up against him until there is no distance left between you.
Cuddling can wait, however. Kei has other plans.
He leans down and places a long, lingering kiss on your forehead. Warmth spreads from the sweet press of affection to your skin, spreading to your cheeks.
“Hey,” you start, unable to hold back the grin blooming on your face, "that doesn't answer my question!”
His only answer is another kiss.
Your forehead is a victim of his affection, along with both of your flushed cheeks. Kei lingers with each kiss, relishing in your soft warmth and how utterly lucky he is to finally be able to smooch you the way he's always wanted.
The final blow is the tender brush of his lips on yours, a promise of forever in a fleeting moment.
A giggle escapes you. “Maybe I should tie my bangs up more so you would kiss me like that again.”
“I don't mind.”
“Weh?”
“Mm.” Kei graces you with a smile, syrupy sweet sentiment spreading across his lips. Behind square frames, his eyes are golden, almost molten with the intensity of his feelings, alight with all-consuming love for you. “As long as I'm the only one you show it to.”
