Chapter Text
That day the sky was cloudy, the sun was obscured by the fog, but its heat still beat down on the earth as if it were summer. The place was perfect for weather like this, a stream flowed like never before, and the breeze rustled through the tall trees, creating a pleasant sound as the leaves brushed against one another.
However, on that day, at that moment, the cats were doing anything but enjoying the moment.
— Back off! — the white cat growled as he refused to back down, baring his claws at his former friend, who looked at him apprehensively. She didn’t advance, but she wouldn’t back down either, she couldn’t. And if she stood still for another minute, it would be the end of her.
Every step she takes feels heavier than the last, she trembles, she feels every hair on her body stand on end, but she doesn’t stop, she couldn’t.
And before the white cat could even scream again, she leaps at him, swift as a flame, like a warrior.
