It had become routine at this point.
As the moonlight shone through the curtains, Poe and Yokomizo would talk about the new ideas for mystery stories they thought up during the day. The two would put their thoughts down on paper and give each other advice, brainstorming creative ways to implement their ideas. A common topic brought up by Yokomizo was locked room murder mysteries while Poe would fervorously talk about alibi tricks.
As the night drifted on and Karl fell asleep, the two decided to retire to bed themselves. They always had tomorrow, and they always had each other.
