It was a great GREAT DAY.
Every student in NRC just finished their semester exams— some overjoyed, some contented with their scores..and some who are not—who's crying their hearts out on the floor..
Idia passed like the genius he is, ofcourse. you might think hes probably over the moon— that's where you're probably wrong..
Every student in the hallways made way when they would usually just ignore him like he didn't exist whatsoever or even bump into him carelessly
What could've possibly drive them into doing that? Could it possibly be cause his mood is so sour you can feel the aura of him from a few blocks away, his topaz colored eyes shining like hes gonna devour those who came close to him with his shark teeth..talking about his shark teeth..he kept grinding it over and over maybe that's one reason..or maybe cause hes ACTUALLY wearing proper uniform today instead of his usual hoodie..it looks so out of place something the Students would say
But in all honesty, what could've gotten him to be this mad and worked up on?, he passed the exams, smart with technology and everything—Bagged one of the prettiest students here, not to mention hella rich too— perfect ass life. So what's there to—
"Damn you, Azul. Damn you, Azul.. i hate you" he kept muttering under his breath
"Who in the world would even suggest sonething stupid like that...?!?!!" He added walking through the halls.. not to mention physically too?, what happened in Ignihyde— oh right.. Ortho happened
I mean hes not gonna blame his little brother over something like that, he was aware Ortho just wanted the best for him, he cant hold it to hold a grudge towards him.
"I shouldn't have ranted to Azul about that in our club time" he sighed and went to the school store where Sam greeted him
"Hello there, Imp!, everything you need is in stock!, I'm assuming its the usual for a Wednesday afternoon?" Sam said already using his magic to fetch the supplies
"U-uh...yea, the usual.. same price and before yes?" He awkwardly spoke to the shop owner
"Oh why yes, its all still priced at 29 thaumarks!, thank you for buying, always remember— everything is in Stock!" Sam handed the cat food to Idia, he has certainly grown accustomed to Idia buying those after the repeated pattern of purchase through the years— he watched the Flame haired student leave his shop

"What.." His face drained of color.. he moved to another spot.
"ANOTHER??!" then moved
OH MY SEVEN'S WHERE ARE THEY? OMF.. this has got to be the most unluckiest game of IRL RNG he ever had the unfortunate soul to experience.. he knew all the spots where the cats usually hangs out and sunbathes in campus but for some random cause— they all suddenly dissappeared?? How is that even realistically possible?— i mean they could've relocated but is it really worth it to go out of his way and put more strain to his already weak legs— who let's mention is shaking and is soft like jello after all that walk.
He questioned himself over and over— is it even worth it?, you can always return tomorrow Idia—
He searched.
He searched every part of the whole campus and even going as far to checking every little cracks or any holes a cat could possibly fit "please show up..i dont wanna go to foothill town.. I DONT EVEN WANNA TOUCH GRASS BUT IM HERE HOLY SHIT...so please cat Gods, answer my prayers and show me atleast one or two cat that can devour this cat food i so painstakingly bought in my physical form" he sounds like hes spiralling into insanity.
He found none.
Well shit, he had to pull some strings to fulfil his needs for fluffy cats

"That's so heartless Yuu, and i even considered you as a friend" Idia feign tears
"Stop your crocodile tears bro, sorry. If Grim says no, then its a no— he's my boss dude"
"Oh wow so you hate me huh, I guess bro..i guess"
"I mean, if you wanted to pet animals—"
"Cats" Idia cut them off mid sentence
"Animals..." Idia let out an exasperated sigh " you can always visit heartslabyul lol, pet the flamingos and stuff, grim is off the picture, im (not) sorry."
"The fact that i even pushed myself to knock and show myself personally..i thought that this effort i made will make you allow me to pet Mr.Grim, then you crushed my heart and denied me, i hate you..dont lie to me on parentheses."
"I love me too, also..just saying— equestrian club is always open, pet the horses whole you're at it" Yuu chuckled
"Im gonna get my balls kicked by the horses, worst case scenario— i get collared by Task master Riddle..no tnx!" Idia walked away from ramshackle with his legs shaking in a zigzag motion
"Love you too dude!, yuu can always try another day!— also, you should wear the jacket back, you look unsettling without it" Yuu shouted
"I hate your puns, stop it." Idia barked back

"Hm?.." he looked up at the sky, it has an orange hue to it, Its already sunset... he scratched his head in frustration.
"No way i did all that the whole afternoon and get nothing in return.. IRL gacha Gods nerfed my luck.. no mercy whatsoever.. i already have a debuff and they just looked at me pitifully and collectively agreed ah yes.. hes a poor soul with a curse, antisocial, gloomy looking and other unflattering factors— shall we do?, oh i know, lets place another nerf on him! THEN BAM! Curse this life.
"I hate my life" and you know what? Its even more pathetic that he gets worked up over not seeing a cat.. no its not that— its the fact that he made all that effort just to get turned down every attempt
"Do i actually look unsettling not wearing my hoodie like Yuu said?..whatevs.. this is a one time thing for Ortho anyways."
he went back to the school to get something before deciding he should just return back to his dorm— only to hear a lullaby..
He looked around and followed the soft song the wind carries and went to the halls near the courtyard.. he was fixing his blazer when he saw someone on the well with silver hair alongside some birds.. not to mention the Diasomnia vest..

Idia looked closely— it really is Silver.. and he's singing a lullaby while looking into a well like those fairy tale princesses.. now that he remembered it— back then when they're practicing for the gift they would give to the Nobel Bell College in Fleur City.. Silver shared a trick into singing.. his advice? And he quote "Look into the water, doesn't it make you want to sing?" Looking back on it now, he's cute while proposing that idea while Idia's thinking Silver is just telling him to hydrate..
Silver sang beautifully, like always— Idia wanted to approach the knight but with the comment Yuu made.. he was afraid. What if Sil doesn't like the change? What if he gave me dirty looks? Nah that doesn't sound like Sil.. but there is a chance... there is he was worried..he was silently moving away but something pulled him closer and rushed to the knight's side with his janky legs exhausted from all that quest
"Woah! easy there!" Idia got a hold of the drowsy Silver
Silver's eyes went wide open and looked at whoever saved him only to see it was Idia
"Don't go looking at the well with your head literally in the middle.."
"Im sorry, you're right..i could've fell" Silver said apologetically
"You should be..you scared me, you're in the dreamworld again" he smirked "i cant risk you visiting the underworld using a one way ticket."
Silver raised an eyebrow "wouldn't that mean we would practically be together through your adult years? Isn't that a good thing for you?"
"STOP TAKING THINGS SERIOUSLY, BABE. AND I DONT WANT YOU DEAD?? WE HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN MARRIED YET!" Idia shouts, how come he still has this much energy
"But im not lying, yes?"
"I dated a hardheaded guy" he sighed
Silver chuckled at Idia's expense "You're really cute when you're like that.."
"Stop throwing total love interest Otome lines at me, i might pass out."
"I'm saying nothing but the honest truth." Silver eyed his boyfriend up and down, Silver raised an eyebrow for a moment before fixing Idia's tie "i can see you're up to something.. what did you do?" Silver lets go of Idia "you look dashing today, you resemble a prince when you're taking care of yourself, keep doing that."
"Lay down on the protagonist lines, babe plz.."
Silver chuckled "no..I'll say what i want to.. Im not lying, you are beautiful and beyond, you just need to work on yourself" Silver tucked Idia's strand of hairs behind his ear with a soft smile "sorry, but i think I'm in a trance.."
Idia sighed and smiled at the knight "wow" he leaned closer feeling cocky— just a few hairsbreadth away from their lips making contact "you really think im that handsome? You're probably fawning over me mentally"
Silver leaned forward for a kiss, making Idia's cockiness slowly crumble and made his hair have a pink hue to its tips before pulling away
"Yes, I do find you attractive and Yes, I am fawning over you mentally, i just hide it very well."
"Fuck..stop please." Idia's cocky demeanor absolutely got destroyed by this princely knight
Silver has this sly smile, lilia's teachings is being put into use..whether this is bad...or good?
"Are you feeling flustered?" He said in an airy tone
Crap.
"Yes!.. and i think my system will self destruct too"
"Hmm?... i don't want that to happen.. so please dont."
"Then uh...stop..i think i need to recharge my energy rq!" He tried to run but is unable to, its like one more step and he collapses flat as a sheet of paper on the ground— not to mention his boyfriend is very athletic so he probably cant outrun Silver.
"You're leaving?, you havent answered my question yet, Idia."
"Huh?.. you did?"
"Yes..I'm just wondering why are you outside? Not to mention the change in attires.. not in a bad way ofcourse, im just curious what changed"
Idia scratched the back of his neck and started ranting about everything
"So like.. Ortho happened, told me i should change outfits for once and go out.. y'know me, babe.. I'm a family person and i just cant deny Ortho like that, he also told me to 'go out there' and atleast try to have some conversation with others... i mean i do intend to go out for club related stuff but not for the whole day yk yk? I could've used my tablet for class stuff"
Silver nods, just listening— this is one of the reasons why Idia fell for the guy— he listens and gives opinions at the end in a respectful manner
He could probably list a lot of instances where he talked about his interests to Silver and he just listens there quietly with a stupid loving smile, this guy got Idia good. Sevens, help these stupid idiots.
"But if you passed..why are you that upset?" Silver raises an eyebrow, curious.
"Oh that, babe?. Azul told me something"
"What did he tell you?"
Idia cleared his throat and delivered an impression of Azul and his conversation earlier at the board game club
Silver listened attentively
"So like..i went to the club, ez stuff. Sat down on my place, Azul went towards me and started proposing to play a card game and so i obliged, ofcourse i was already down after being forced to wear this uniform and going out.. Azul took notice and asked:
-"Is there something bothering you?, you seem pretty down— not like you aren't everyday."
So like ofcourse I took offense to that, yk me i just dont really have the energy to argue so I just explained the situation to him
"Wow, you're so kind, you're even concerned about my wellbeing, is there a catch?" Idia said sarcastically "well take one good look and tell me whats off."
Then he eyed me up and down and with that stupid assesing eye of his
-"yes, i do notice you tidied up yourself, an ocasion?, a date with Silver?"
"No, Sadly... Ortho jus told me to change my outfit even just for once and also he added and i quote "if you're going out to foothill town, dress properly" so I'm here."
Azul snickered
-"He should push you out of your comfort zone more, Silver might like the change of pace.. although you wearing the school uniform is quite a shocking change."
"Ortho said i look good in it"
-"he will, you guys are siblings.. I'm not quite sure though— maybe its just cause i was so used to seeing you with your hoodie.. also leaving for foothill town? What does that entail?"
"Uh..yk cat cafe and stuff, not much rlly, i was just feeling like it.. but like i don't rlly wanna go out n stuff"
Azul raised an eyebrow then smirked
-"I have proposition.."
"I smell something fishy..as if you arent already from the sea."
Azul glared at him before clearing his throat -"if you dont want to leave the comfort of your room— why not just dress yourself up as one and if push comes to shove, maybe film yourself and meow at the camera then send it to Silver too while you're at it"
"What is wrong with you??!" He shouts
-"None and Get fucked" Then Azul destroyed Idia at the card game
:Aaand end of flashback"
Silver snickered "you could've asked me you know?"
"You will wear a fur— i mean..that stuff?"
"No, what i meant is that you could've called me if you needed help reaching animals"
"Kitties."
"...Animals, but sure...Cats." Silver smiled soflty "let's go to the gate"
"I'll follow your lead, Babe" Idia said as they left the courtyard and was headed towards the gate..honestly how did he even have the privilege to date this total hunk..not to mention he's an absolute chud too.. well no use dwelling on it, their relationship has been pretty healthy and happy eversince they started dating— through all that thoughts he hadn't realized that they just got into the location until Silver told him that they were.
"Alright..lets just wait out here..pspspspssss" Silver said..
Ah.. he looks so cute from Idia's eyes, he should've known how gorgeous he is. Actually..Silver was more over him in private where people cant see them together being all lovey dovey. The amount of love and appreciation Silver gives would be enough to last more than his lifespan thats for sure, not that he was complaining though!, he enjoyed the peppery kisses and hugs His boyfriend gives him
"Ah..Idia look..some cats are approaching"
He lit up after Silver pointed it out and the cats went towards him and his boyfriend.
"EEEEEKKK so cuteee" Idia squealed while Silver just watched him with a smile and also reaching for the cat food while they still have a cat to feed.
As Silver was opening the can.. Idia asked "Uh..babe?, is this supposed to happen?.."
Silver glanced up at the housewarden "what do you mean?"
Idia looked directly at Silver and pointed at the gate.. "that.."
Silver looked at the gate and saw a horde of animals then back at Idia "no..but it happens pretty frequently— when i was a child at Briar Valley, animals would come by our cabin and play with me before Sebek arrived..so it's the norm for me"
"doesn't look like it was rlly..normal here.."
"Sorry, i totally forgot to tell you."
"that you're an animal magnet?.."
"Is that how you call it?"
"Yes."
"Oh.. noted."
"No you don't."
"Sorry."
"You're really cute yk that Sil?" Idia softened his voice and gaze towards the knight
"Father used to tell me i am" he answered bluntly
"Well i am telling you that now"
Silver chuckled "you're pretty handsome yourself, Idia." The cat in purred after being handed food
His hair went wild dancing in pink
"Hey so like lets try not to steal someones protagonist alloted time of rizzing the love interest please"
"Well..whatever Rizzing is.. you always do that to me everytime without you even noticing how you affect me." Silver smiled soflty
"Oh?" Idia grinned "i do now?, careful Sil. I bite"
"Well then.. do you want to test my theory out?" Silver challenged Idia trying to tease him and ruin his cocky demeanor but unfortunately to Silver's surprise, not once did it falter
"I warned you, Babe, I bite" then he leaned closer till his blue and cold lips locks with silvers warm and soft lips— the sudden action shook Silver but instead of pushing him away— he wrapped his arms around the neck of the blue Housewarden deepening the kiss.
In the distance
"What." Sebek said with his jaw dropped.
"Fufufufu~ my how sweet could they get!, young love truly blossoms in the most innocent and purest form" Lilia basked in the moment of his son being happy
"If he wasn't dating Silver, I would've smited him with my lightnings." Malleus said, his eyes sharp trying his best not to pounce Idia
"Let's not do that dear, haha, let go back to diasomnia and leave the two behind!~" Lilia said and forcefully pushed the two statues who's staring at the couple back to the hall of mirrors.
