“Yep,” Sokka confirms, suddenly more interested in watching the clouds above them than looking at Zuko. “Yeah he - or, you know, whoever - is definitely very beautiful. And a very good friend.” He shuts his mouth before he can start rambling, his mind supplying him with all the reasons why he likes Zuko so much.
“Yeah?” Zuko grins, nudging his knee against Sokka’s, and Sokka nearly jumps. Is the Fire Lord...flirting with him?
(Sokka is in love. Zuko is also in love. Cue misunderstandings.)
