If you were to tell Coșmara Noroi six months ago that she’d end up in a poly relationship with a masochistic hornet demon and the ex demon queen of D-667 she’d laugh in your face and call you an idiot, well who's the idiot now coshi.
Today was a long day the nightmare hunter having just fought killed a variant of their newest teammate Noah arxson, the variant in question was actually a part of Tarsa’s pantheon, this version of the king of beasts was much different from the goofy and kind king chimera, this version of the beast king was tyrant and and constantly in his giant beast form, it took six hours for mara heath and Arx to kill the evil variant of Arx.
So yeah Mara was exhausted so now she just wanted to go to her partner’s apartment in D-667 and just rest, they already planned a movie night for that evening so resting shouldn't be a problem.
Mara got the apartment, fished the spare key she was given out of her pocket and opened the door and went inside.
“Stings, shortstack im home”
Mara heard a defeated sigh come from the living room, Mara giggled “this is what you get for cursing me Ari”
The former demon queen huffed “Vivianne your girlfriend is bullying me again”
Viv walked into the room giggling “sweetheart she’s our girlfriend and has been for the past five months”
Arava scowled "she's your girlfriend when she calls me short”
It's been four years since the whole Zoophiathan incident and two years since Arava’s release from the R.A.S foundation arava had bit of growth spurt since losing the immortality granted by her overseer abilities and now looked around twenty years old even if she was only biologically eighteen, but she was still shorter than both Mara and Viv, and Mara loves teasing Arava about that.
Viv giggled “sweetie you are short”
Arava looked absolutely betrayed "traitors, the both of you”
Viv kissed arava on the forehead “Love you too ari”
Viv then looked to Mara who looked utterly exhausted “yikes you okay Mar Mar?”
Mara sighed "I've had a really rough day”
Viv immediately walked over to Mara and gave her a tight hug “do you just want to relax for a bit?”
Mara nodded “yes please”
Mara then just sat on the couch and sighed in relief, she then wrapped an arm around Arava, the smaller demon girl nuzzled into Mara’s side.
Viv returned with snacks “okay my loves i got all the good snacks now we can just hang out and watch some movies”
Viv noticed Mara tilting her “hey love is your neck okay?”
Mara groans “the fight today was unbearable so yeah my neck is a bit stiff”
Viv nodded “i could give you a neck massage if you want”
Mara nodded and then sat down on the floor in front of the couch, viv sat down on the couch and started to massage Mara’s neck.
“Yikes you are knotted as hell darling, what happened”
Mara sighed “a lot”
Viv worked her hands through Mara’s neck, the nightmare hunter groaned a little as the knots loosened.
Arava chuckles “you seem to be enjoying that a bit too much there mara~”
Mara chuckles “your one to talk squid”
Arava glared at the nightmare hunter “shut it”
Mara giggled “what ever you say princess”
Arava blushed a deep purple and looked away, viv giggled “i love you both so much”
Mara chuckled “i love you too, not sure about little miss which tho”
Arava glared at Mara “oi i was here first bitch, your nothing but a side piece compared to me”
Mara smirked “thats such big talk for such a lil girl”
Arava was about to yell something at Mara when Viv cut them off “okay thats enough you two, okay how to you feel Mar Mar”
Mara sighed in relief “amazing thanks stings”
Arava sighed “can we just watch a movie please”
Viv nodded and put on the nightmare before Christmas, it was both Mara and Arava’s favourite movie.
Mara ended up back on the couch in between Arava and Viv, the hornet wrapped an arm around Mara while Arava nestled in Mara’s side.
As much as Mara and Arava argued and made fun of each other they did love each other.
Half way through the movie Mara fell asleep
Viv smirked “wow Mars truly exhausted”
Arava nodded “we should do something nice for her”
Viv smirked “aww you do have a heart”
Arava rolled her eyes at her girlfriend.
Viv thought for a moment “you stay here to cuddle her ill make a nice dinner and then run her a bath”
Arava nodded “okay”
And that's truly what love was just being their for each other when they have a rough day
