Chapter Text
Edd, Matt, and Tom were finally free.
Matt helped Tom escape after he escaped from the Red Leader. There, they ran to their house where they saw Edd, sitting on the couch watching TV.
Edd scrambled and turned off the TV, “Oh good, you guys are here.”
“Wouldn’t miss it for the world, Edd!” Matt exclaimed. “So, what’s the big plan?”
“I thought you thought of it!”
“We came here because we thought you thought of the plan, Edd,” Tom replied.
“I don’t care who thought of the plan!” Matt yelled, “What we need is the Red Leader gone.”
“Matt’s right, Edd. We have to take the Red Leader down or else we’d be dead by now.”
Edd fidgeted a bit with every mention of Tord, but he kept it cool, “Yeah, sure. We sneak into the base at 10, okay?”
“Am or pm?” Matt asked.
“Pm.”
Ten PM finally came, the trio all in gear that looked like it came straight from a spy movie.
“Edd!” Matt complained, “Why are we wearing this? It makes my face look fat!”
“Quiet, Matt!” Edd snapped, “If you don’t shut up we’re all gonna get killed.”
Tom spotted Paul and Patryck guarding the doors to the Red Leader’s base, “We need a distraction.”
“I’ll do it!” Matt volunteered. Then he quickly got into a bikini and high heels and walked up to Paul and Patryck.
“Can we help you?” Patryck asked.
Matt cleared his throat before getting into a very girly voice, “Oh heavens, I’m just a girl! I’m looking for a place to stay for the night and—“
“Come in!” Paul interjected.
“Thanks a lot!” Matt then walked in, still in his outfit. Edd and Tom followed.
The trio finally walked into the base, Tom looking at Matt confusedly, “Matt, you can change out of that you know.”
Matt gasped like Tom insulted 20 generations of his family, “And change into that clunky spy gear? No thank you!”
“Just saying it’s kind of messed up how people act like girls can’t do anything for themselves.”
Matt and Edd nodded in agreement.
The three then spotted Tord in a chair, back turned on them, “Oh good. You guys finally decided to come back.” He then tried to spin the chair around awkwardly, lifting it up and turning it, or at least attempting to.
“You couldn’t afford a spinning chair?” Tom asked dryly.
“I do have one! It’s just that Richard’s using it…”
Tom turned his head to see Richard spinning around in the chair enthusiastically. Tom blinked in confusion, “Whatever, Tord. Release the citizens or face the consequences!” He pulled out a harpoon gun.
Tord just laughed, “You really need to think of new moves, Tom.” He lifted his robot arm to blast some energy at Tom.
Edd grabbed a table and angled it so that the blast wouldn’t attack Tom, “I got you, buddy.”
Tom was relieved, “Thanks, Edd.” He got back out into the open, “This is for our house, Tord.” He shot the harpoon but Tord managed to dodge.
“Are you serious right now?” Tord asked, “Betraying your leader? That’s a new low, even for you. And why is Matt in a bikini?”
“…Don’t ask.”
“Hey! I can fight too you know!” Matt then grabbed a gun that was laid aside.
“Put that down, soldier…” Tord instructed.
“I’m not your soldier anymore!” Matt finally shot at the arm with the gun, trying to disable it, “Yay! I did something!”
Tord fell to the ground, gripping his robot arm with his other hand as it twitched uncontrollably.
“Come on, guys. Let’s disable the mind control,” Tom instructed.
Edd pressed the button and everyone under the Red Leader’s control was finally snapped out of it, “Everyone! You were under spells! Wait, Tom! Is mind control a spell? Anyways, the leader,” Edd points to Tord, who was clearly not in a good state, “is EVIL!”
“We should kill him!” A bystander chanted.
“Wait…” Edd whispered to himself, “Kill?”
“Yes! Kill! Burn the leader!”
“Okay… let’s all just calm down,” Edd realized what he said and tried to think of something else, “You don’t want to get killed by him! I mean he’s all stronger than you, so—“ Edd turned his head and then back again towards the screen, “And I see you already have pitchforks and torches in your hands! Very fun!” He then turned off the screen.
Paul and Patryck ran over to Tord who was gripping his head, “Oh my god, it hurts. Make it stop!”
“Tord, are you okay?” Paul asked cautiously. “We’re here!”
Tord’s eyes flashed red for a brief second, “Run!” before he attacked Paul and Patryck both, sending them flying across the room.
