Chapter Text
Harry woke on a plank in the ocean, and only an arm wrapping around him kept him from falling in. The heat was overwhelming. The sun was bright, and there was no protection from it. To make matters worse, he'd gotten horribly sick after the defeat of Voldemort a few months ago. The Healers didn't know what was wrong with him. He blinked around. Water on all sides, a plank under him, and Rabastan Lestrange behind him. Oh, what fresh hell was this? He swayed, and Rabastan caught him again.
"Hold still or you're going to go in." Rabastan's voice told him from near his ear.
Harry willed screens to appear before him, because he'd obviously been transmigrated. It worked. He went through all the screen functions. Inventory, Stats, Regional Chat, World Chat, Trade Screen, Personal Shop, Crafting Menu, and Equip Screen. Rabastan watched him, then did the same.
"Wait, this person in world chat says they woke up on a boat." Rabastan groused. "We're on a plank."
Newbie Gift Packs have arrived!
Please open them!
Harry touched the gift box in his Inventory. He could feel Rabastan watching him. He had 10 Wood, 10 Plastic, 10 Copper Blocks, 1 Fishing Rod, 2 Blueprints, 1 Talent Orb, 500g bread, 500ml Water, 1 Fishing Rod, and a Territory Core.
You have been compensated for awakening on a plank
"I got the same as you." Rabastan said. "Only no second fishing rod or blueprints."
Harry nodded. He opened the crafting menu. It gave him three menus Upgrade, Craft, and Deconstruct. There were only two things that could be upgraded. The fishing rod and the plank into a wooden boat. The upgrade required 10 Wood, and they had 20. So he pressed on it. The plank began glowing and lengthened into a small boat. 3 meters long and a meter and a half across. Rabastan let go of Harry instantly.
"The next upgrade wants 20 Wood and will add a cabin." Rabastan said, looking at his Crafting screen. "Now what?"
Harry was looking at his Inventory. A Seawater converter, which could turn seawater into Freshwater at 1000ml a day was a blueprint. That was two bottles of water a day. The second fishing rod that he'd gotten was called a Resource Fishing Rod. It could randomly haul up supplies, materials, blueprints, and special items three uses a day. The next was a map fragment, which could set an initial location and show the surrounding sea area from that point. The regular fishing rod was Uncommon or Green quality and could catch fish and treasure chests.
He went to see what it cost to make the Seawater converter. It needed 10 Plastic, 3 Wood, and 5 White Stones. A look at the Personal shop said that White Stones were the currency, and it was only buying fish at the moment. They had the wood and plastic because of Rabastan's supplies. They needed the white stone.
He marked his map. His boat appeared. He found an island and marked it. He cast the normal rod and cast it. He then took out his Talent Orb. He opened it. A wheel spun.
Talent Acquired!
Percentage and Hint Eyes!
You can send the readout information to your teammate.
Harry rubbed his eyes and realized he could see perfectly without his glasses. He pulled his rod and reeled in a fish. He opened the shop and sold it for a single white stone. He began fishing in earnest. After he got his fifth fish, he went into a coughing fit. When his vision cleared, the Seawater Converter was sitting on the other side of him.
"That's what you wanted, right?" Rabastan asked. Harry blinked at him and nodded. "Then there you go. Rest for a bit. I'll do the fishing and make the money."
Harry saw it then, information all around. A 100% fishing spot appeared behind Rabastan. It said chest. The information appeared on a screen, and he sent it to Rabastan.
Rabastan carefully turned around and began fishing.
"Handy Talent." Rabastan mumbled. He cleared his throat. "I have an Infinite Inventory that generates resources from those I've touched. So what I'm saying is...you can rely on me. We don't have to do anything but pull chests and upgrade, and I'll take care of you."
Rabastan was saying this because Harry was putting out pheromones. Omega pheromones. Rabastan hadn't had an Omega in a long time and wanted one desperately. He liked taking care of them. He quickly tried to remember how old Potter was. He relaxed when his mental math told him that Potter was 18. Good, that was good. He opened his Inventory. He was already instantly generating Water Bottles, Bread, Wood, Plastic, Copper, a level 1 common fish, and a level 2 Uncommon fish. He really didn't know if he needed to keep fishing, but it said that there was a chest. So he was going for the chest. He handed Potter a Water Bottle and remembered that the fishing pole only needed 1 Copper. He upgraded it and cast. It wasn't long before he hauled the chest into the boat. Potter was watching him. He opened it. He pulled out a Blue card that said it was a pet card. He held it out to Potter.
"Do you want a pet?" He asked. "I can't get one of these to instantly generate. Use it."
Harry reached out a shaking hand.
Rabastan pulled out a Purple card.
"This says that this will give ice powers." He looked at Harry. "Do you want it?"
Harry shook his head.
Rabastan nodded and learned it himself. He didn't have any skill to go with it. That was curious.
He watched Harry, yes, Harry, his Harry- use the skill card. Moments later, a baby blue whale appeared beside the boat. It was already five meters long. It lay its head against the hull, and Harry petted it. He carefully reached out and petted it as well.
Deep Sea Giant Whale
Rare(Blue) Quality
Level: 1
Name: Big Blue
"Nice to meet you, Big Blue." Rabastan said to the whale. "Your master's name is Harry. My name is Rabastan."
The whale seemed to nod.
Harry lazily petted his whale, but information appeared before Rabastan again. He shifted and used the resource rod. He soon had the chest. He opened it.
In this one, he found: Five chicken legs and 1000ml of water. He checked his Inventory. Yep, he was now generating chicken legs.
"Do you think that you can eat some chicken?" Rabastan wondered, offering one to Harry. "Eat as much as you like. My Talent is now generating them in my Inventory. Also, you don't need to worry about water; drink as much as you like. I'm generating that too."
Harry seemed to think about it, then took the offered chicken and began nibbling at it. Harry pointed then and then pointed at the level 2 fishing rod.
Rabastan nodded and fished in that area. He pulled up an Orange card.
Mythical Hero Card.
Summon a Mythical Hero to aid you on your adventures.
Rabastan didn't really want anyone else joining them. He wanted Harry all to himself, but Harry was watching him, so he held it up and used it. An orange light bloomed at the bow, which was behind Rabastan. He moved closer to Harry.
When the light faded, a tall, slender beauty had appeared: over a meter seven, light golden hair, light gold eyes, a white high-waisted dress, a curved figure she did nothing to hide. She held a small white wooden staff, maybe 40 cm long. She bowed to them.
"Hello, Lords. My name is Serra."
"I'm Rabastan, this is Harry, and that's Big Blue." Rabastan stated. "This is our boat. Sorry, it's a bit cramped. Can you fish?"
She blinked at them, then sat down and picked up the level 2 rod.
"I use light and healing magic." Serra informed them.
"I use Ice magic." Rabastan informed. "Harry doesn't, yet." He grabbed another chicken leg and a bottle of water. "Here, eat and hydrate. Don't worry about food. It's going to be repetitive right now."
"I am not hungry right now, but thank you for the water, my Lord."
Big Blue had gone hunting for food, but returned after an hour. Harry suddenly had an idea. He opened the trade and searched for rope. He traded two bottles of water for six ropes. He began working. They were soon tethered to Big Blue. He showed Big Blue the Island marked on the map, and Big Blue set off, pulling them behind him. Harry fell into Rabastan's arms. Serra fell against his back.
Rabastan steadied both of them, but kept hold of Harry. Pulling him fully against him. He took in a long inhale of Harry's pheromones. He smelled so good.
