After tiring hours at work, the day went to night, grian was getting colder by the hour.
Mumbo had asked him many times if he was fine, grian said the usual yeah but he felt like he was going to freeze,
He couldn't even feel his fingers with how cold it felt for him but it was pretty normal for him.
After a few minutes impulse said grian was done with his shift and could go home.
Grian's wings twitched as he grabbed his bag pulling out a fidget and headphones for the way home, he would walk home since he doesn't live far from it.
He was definitely exited to see his so called 'close friend' of 10 years (everyone, even doc! Thought otherwise) or roommate Scar!

As grian walked up the alley to his house he saw a recognizeable cat! Maui had been outside for a couple hours from what grian knew, scar had told him.
Grian called over Maui, Maui recognizing her owner jumped in his arms making grians wings flutter.
They both walked through for a few more minutes when they reached the front door of their house grian was indeed still shivering.

Maui made her way into the backyard, before making her way tho she rubbed herself on grians leg and purred and left.
Scar was for some reason outside finishing up some stuff whilst grian was fiddling for his keys in the back bag, not noticing scar staring at him.
Scars tail quivers(?) in happiness to see 𝗵𝗶𝘀 best friend.. His cat ears twitching for sounds.
Quietly scar made his way behind the avian as his wings fluttered in the night sky. .
Just as grian picked up his keys scar tapped his shoulder.
Grian:"AHH!" The avian turned around heart racing because of the jump scare. His wings floofed up a little and twitched
"What was that for you. . Idiot!-"
Meanwhile scar was laughing so very hard.
"Sorry sorry G!- i- couldn't, pff.. Help myself!!" With that he continued laughing
After a few seconds of talking, Scar picked up the keys from grians hands but then.. He noticed how cold they were, it wasnt that cold for Scar. He was even wearing a button up shirt that was kinda undone with how warm he usually was. Meanwhile Grian was in his usual red hoodie and a brown scarf that he had stolen from Scar.
"Gri, why are you so cold geez... Come inside and ill make you something warm to drink!.." Scar said clearly verily protective about his so called 'best friend'
Grian blushed a bit but you couldn't see it since it was dark out.
Scar lead grian inside the house letting the shorter guy remove his shoes as well as himself
Jellie & Pearl came to greet them both meowing at them wanting to play..
"Hi buddyyss.." Grian said petting both of the felines gently and lovingly giving them both a kiss before making way to the couch whilst his wings ruffled

Scar had made his way into the kitchen a bit worried , his tail thumping on his leg.
As he warmed the milk he looked as onto grian who was watching some Netflix with the Pearl, Jellie and Maui.
Jellie was on his lap, Maui was in his arms and Pearl was halfly on his shoulder and face making it a bit harder to breathe but oh well. Cats are cats!
Scar smiled to himself asking himself how he could ever fall In love with his best friend that was so unnormally cute..!
"Scarrr! Youre starinngg!?" Grian said loud enough for the scarred man to hear and look away..
"Sorry sorry G!" scar exclaimed his tail forming into a half heart that grian didn't notice because Pearl started to nudge him and purr
A few seconds later the cats decided to leave to Their cat tree and they all cuddled to sleep..
It was truly a calming night right now if grian still wasn't cold, not as cold as before tho.

Scar finished the hot milk and poured it I a glass for the two of them. Grabing some cookies that he had backed a couple hours ago, he made sure he didn't add anything poisonous for them both like chocolate or something..
Scar carefully and concentrated brought their drinks and snacks to the couch and asked the avian "hey G? Wanna watch a movie?"
"Yeah alright scar." The shorter man replied with a little bit of a tremble In his voice because of how cold it was..
With that scar excuses himself for a few seconds and grabbed two blankets and removed his shirt because he was getting too hot.. He grabbed a crop top from grian and wore it.
He grabbed the crochet plushies of the three cats grian had crochet a couple months ago..

Scar made his way to the couch again and sat next to the parrot, the parrot instantly opening his wing and putting scar in a half hug, whilst the other put the blankets over the shorter man..
Grian takes the glass of hot sweetend milk and takes a sip of it, it was comforting sitting next to his 'best friend'.

Scar drank his hot milk as well after He finished, he caresses Grians parrot wings softly taking the shorter man off guard but otherwise enjoying it. Scar purred softly as grian leans on him.
They had done this many times before.. Cuddling into sleep after a long day...
Scars tail curves around the end seemingly enjoying the experience..
They both finished their snacks and turned off the TV.
Both of them were too comfortable and tired too move but they knew they had too..
"Gri.. Can I mayybee sleep with you tonight??.. Im too comfortable to sleep aloneee?~" scar asked subconsciously but meaning it to the fullest..
"Hmp.. Fine I guess you can. If you kick me you will be sleeping In your bed then!"
Grian said affectionately.

Scar picked up grian gently, grian was light so it was pretty easy..
Grian blushed but hid it well, exept for his racing thoughts and heart.. His wings twitching but he didn't complain★
Grian thought that scar was sso so so warm and comfortable.. Hmn probably just sleepy thoughts.
After the duo brushed their teeth and got ready they both climbed onto bed.
Scar wanted to cuddle.. Before he could ask.
"Should I read you a book scar?.." Grian asked softly
"I-i ah? Uh!. Would you really do that for me?.." His voice quieter compared to the normal energetic voice. "I mean.. Yes! Yeah yep I want you to read something for me"
Grian looked at the very happy scar.. And picked up a book and read it to scar, as the scarred man had his head on the shorter man's stomach.
Grian softly pet scar scratching behind his ears in a comforting matter, scar purred softly as he listened to Grians calming voice that made him feel all fuzzy inside.
As grian finished reading he out the book away and scar came closer to grian and snuggles into his chest going on top of him.
Grian's face was flushed as scar snuggles on him but he liked it.. How couldve grian fallen in love with this idiot..!
Grian pulls scar closer with hugging him with his wings cuddling him with weather light touches petting his back.
Grian slowly fell asleep as scar had his hand in Grians hair... Slowly untangling it.
A few minutes they fell into the best sleep they had in the couple weeks of stress..
