Aleena fell to her knees next to the wounded frame of Teapii. The mud underneath her let her sink down just that much closer to her lover. Aleena wrapped her arms around Teapii and pulled her closer, Lifting her head up onto her lap. She ran her hand through the wounded girls muddy and wet hair, Trying her best to wipe it clean. She cried into the girls hair aswell.
She didn’t want to lose her. She had just found her sweet tea and now it was washing down the drain. Teapii cried too, But she promised they were happy tears. Teapii promised to her that she would never leave her truly. She’d always watch over Aleena through the northern stars. She gave a weak kiss to Aleena’s hand, Which was cutoff by a proper kiss provided by Aleena.
She held Teapii tight to her chest, Trying to keep the her warm. She didn’t want her lover to be so far in the stars like she said. She wanted her to stay right here, In her arms, For forever. She recounted memories to Teapii, Wanting her to atleast be happy when she passed on. Teapii also told Aleena some of her favorite memories.
They kept talking for several minutes, Until Aleena’s star’s light started to fade. Her voice got weaker, And her grasp on the others hand loosened. Aleena’s tears dripped onto Teapii’s cheek. She kissed her again, As she felt the girl get heavier in her arms. The light faded from her with a small, and quiet,
“I love you Alee”
She was gone for good. Aleena sat there for a good hour or so, Holding her lover as she got colder. She cried into her for a long time.
