Chapter Text
- It was a very beautiful morning, the sun rised and the birds chirped. It is 6 in the morning and Book needs to get up to go to school.
*BEEP, BEEP*
Her alarm was off
She groaned and turned the alarm off. She didnt want to go to school, shes mentally unstable and is hurting.
"Why do i have to get up for school."
She mumbled and kept laying in her bed
Until her phone started blasting loud music. Someone is calling her
"AGH!!" she screamed cuz that startled her, her mom downstairs flinched at her daughters scream and yelled to check if everythings okay
"Book?! Are you okay?!"
Book still half asleep replied
"Yea im fine." then she picked up her phone and answered the call. It was Ruby
Ruby:"HEY BOOK! Are you coming to school todaaay? We've got lots of gossip you know.." Ruby smirked at her phone but Book could practically feel her smirk
Book:"Yea im coming." then she hung up.
She got out of bed and walked like a zombie towards the closet, she took off her pajamas then put on her bra. She was staring at the mirror next to her closet for too long.. She stared at her arms, her body. The thoughts in her head: (Gosh why am i so ugly?), (Im so pathetic for this.). Book turned to her closet and just took out her school uniform, put the top and the skirt on.
She got out of her room and walked towards the bathroom to brush her hair, after she was done with that she put her black gloves on that cover her forearms. Then she stared at herself on the mirror in the bathroom. She muttered "Im so disgusting i can't even bring myself to brush my teeth.." she walked back to her room, put her shoes on and walked downstairs
"Bye mom, im going to school." her mother waved and gave a smile "Don't forget to bring your lunch!" Book turned around, took the lunch and just bolted out of the door. She walked groggily..
No energy in her and barely any sleep last night.
Her thoughts were swirling in her head, all the bad ones. Overthinking and her own self hatred.
After 15 minutes she arrived infront of the gates. Her friend group waiting for her there. Pencil, Match, Bubble, Ruby and Ice cube. Ice cube was her bestest friend out of all of them. "Hi" Book said with a little smile that didnt quite reach her eyes
"Good morning!" they all said in unison
Match:"Woah Book, you look like a zombie today. Are you okay?"
Pencil:"Yea, did you even get any sleep last night?"
Book stared at them not knowing what to say but she was a bit scared if she admits anything then she'll break.
Book:"Im fine! I just stayed up late reading and studying.. You know how we got a test today."
Pencil, Match and Ruby gasped loudly and started panicking
"I FORGOT WE HAVE A TEST TODAY!!" Ruby said while gripping her hair really hard
Things erupted into chaos...
