Eunchae loves to walk outside. It's one of her favorite things to do. She looks around while skipping, then stops in her tracks and spots a newly opened cafe called “MIXX N PICK”.
“Hm?” Eunchae hums “Is this new?” “Trying out wouldn't hurt!” She then pulls out her phone and text Yunjin
*Laughing shoe👟
Manchae: There seems to be a new cafe in town, I'm going to check it out!
Laughing shoe👟: Ooh sounds nice can you get me vanilla coffee please~
Eunchae scoffs and rolls her eyes “This girl always wants something”
Manchae: Fine but you're paying for it
Laughing shoe👟: How dare you make me pay for it😡
Manchae: Well I'm doing the walking so yeah
Laughing shoe👟: …
*Laughing shoe👟: Good point, I'll send you the cash.
“Yunjin was always so EASY to convince honestly” Eunchae thought, she then puts her phone back into her purse then proceeds to open the door.
She's immediately greeted by the smell of Vanilla accompanied with Cinnamon.
A familiar sound plays on the radio *Anti ti ti ti fragile fragile anti ti ti ti fragile fragile*
Eunchae thinks for a second “This song oddly feels familiar?” “Ah whatever, it's not important”.
She then walks up to the counter and rings the bell, as she waits she takes in the beautiful scenery of the cafe “Ah this place is really so beautiful” Eunchae thought “Might come here of-”
“Hello” An unfamiliar voice called out, Eunchae turned her head towards the girl with cat-like features, “Oh sorry” Eunchae says.
“You're alright” “What would you like to order mam?” The girl spoke with a soft smile. Eunchae looks at the menu and immediately spots Spaghetti, it caught her eye “Hmm” Eunchae thinks “I didn't think they would have Spaghetti”. Eunchae asks the girl for Spaghetti and Vanilla coffee. Order 54
She takes the receipt then looks at the worker and spots her name tag.
*Kyujin
Eunchae spots a vacant table and walks over there and takes a seat, she takes out her phone and pulls texts Yunjin
*Laughing shoe 👟
Manchae: It's really nice here! They also have Spaghetti which is something I never thought they would have
*Laughing shoe👟: Cool! Did you get my coffee?!
Eunchae looks at the screen amused then scoffs “This girl seriously only cares about her coffee”.
*Manchae: Yes, you really love coffee more than your best friend don't you? 😔
*Laughing shoe 👟: No? I love you more!
“Mhm” Eunchae says sarcastically while rolling her eyes. She then hears her number “Number 54!”
Eunchae immediately snapped back to reality and looked towards the sound. She spotted Kyujin with her order. “She really is pretty isn't she” Eunchae thought.
She got up from her table and walked over and paid for her order. Kyujin looks at her with another smile and says “Enjoy your food mam!”. Eunchae smiles equally back “Thank you, have a good day”. Eunchae then walks to her table.
She gives Yunjin a quick text
*Laughing shoe 👟
Manchae: I'm going to eat here, I wanna enjoy the beautiful view
Laughing shoe 👟: Hmm, okay have fun!
*Manchae: Thanks!
Eunchae takes a quick picture of the food as she starts eating the food “Yummy” Eunchae says while stuffing her mouth (Me fr fr). As she was about to take another bite she heard a glass break.
“I'm so sorry sir!” Kyujin says while picking up the glass. Eunchae then spots a man in front of her “YOU LITTLE B*TCH” He screams. Kyujin's eyes widened “Sir, I'm sorry please stop yelling” “I'll pay for your order, just please-”.
A loud slap echoed through the cafe as people watched in shock. The man angrily said “Watch yourself little brat” as he walked away.
“WTF why isn't anyone helping her?” Eunchae thought, she then hears a little sob coming from the girl. Eunchae had enough she places her fork down and walks towards the man.
“Hey you” Eunchae angrily says as she taps the angry man "What do you want.” The man says with an attitude. “Why did you slap the girl?” Eunchae asks.
“She bumped into me and ruined my shirt and order” He angrily said. Eunchae then asks “Why would you slap her, she apologized and said she would pay for your order!”. “SHE RUINED MY SHIRT AND ORDER, I HAD THE RIGHT!” The man yelled. People were now staring at the two fighting. “No the f*ck you didn't” Eunchae stated. “What is wrong with you?!”.
The man then raises his fist towards Eunchae and attempts to punch her but Eunchae did martial arts for 5 years, so she easily managed to dodge the man. “Nice try buddy” Eunchae says as she lands a blow on the man's face making him move back slightly. The man then yells “F*CKING ASSHOLE” while charging towards Eunchae. “TAKE THIS” He angrily yells once more. BAM the man collapses on the floor in pain, Eunchae kicked him in the balls (As she should😌)
She then remembers about Kyujin and runs towards her “Are- are you okay?” Eunchae asked worriedly. The older girl looks at Eunchae with teary eyes “You saved me” Kyujin sniffles, Eunchae feels already like crying. How could this guy do this to her? Staff come running immediately out and takes the guy away.
Kyujin leans in and hugs Eunchae still crying “Thank- thank you”. Eunchae slightly blushes “Oh um no problem, he shouldn't have done that”. Kyujin pulls away and sniffles “I owe you”. “No no” Eunchae says as she waves her hands around in panic “Please it's truly okay”.
A beautiful female staff member comes up to the girls “Are you okay?” she says while looking between the two girls. Kyujin responded almost immediately “Yes Yoona unnie”. She then looks at Eunchae and asks if she was okay, she responded with a quick yes.
The beautiful girl waves staff to pick up the mess, Eunchae looks up and spots her name tag says *Sullyoon. “What a beautiful name” Eunchae thought.
Sullyoon then picks up Kyujin and tells her to take a break. “Okay” the younger girl responds. Sullyoon looks at Eunchae and smiles while reaching out for her pen and notebook. Eunchae then sees her writing down something so she just waits.
“Hey” Sullyoon asks. “Hmm?” Eunchae replies with “What's your name?” Yoona asks eagerly. “Uhm” Eunchae gulps “Hong Eunchae” Yoona then gives her the paper “Here” Yoona says “I seriously owe you”. Wait, what's this? “Thank you but I don't need anything” Eunchae states. Sullyoon then says “Please, Eunchae take this” with pleading eyes. Eunchae knew she had to take it so she grabbed the paper from the beautiful girl “Okay”.
Then all of a sudden a man yells “Yoona please come here!”. Sullyoon turns toward the sound and back to Eunchae and says “I'll be going now”. “Bye” Eunchae shyly says as Sullyoon walks towards the man then pauses and looks at Eunchae, lipsyncing “Thank you”. Eunchae gives her a warm smile and nods. Yoona then disappears.
She walks towards her table and quickly grabs her stuff. She puts the note in her purse and grabs her phone. A text message

*Laughing shoe 👟: How's the food? And good?
Eunchae stops and looks down at the message
*Manchae: Yes it was delicious, and also can I please talk to you?
Laughing shoe 👟: That's great!
*Laughing shoe 👟: Right, I'll be at my place waiting for you then!
Eunchae puts her phone back and opens the door, the cold wind hits her immediately “Ugh, I should have brought my coat”. Whatever Eunchae can deal with it.

At Yunjin's place
“So” Yunjin says, taking a sip of her coffee “You got in a fight?” Eunchae rubs her neck “Yeah, I just said that didn't I?
“Hm I guess” Yunjin mumbles “So are you going to meet up with her or something?” Yunjin curiously asks, leaning forward eyebrows raised. “Unnie I get I saved her but I don't even know them? Like what if they kidnap me?” Eunchae responds with. Yunjin laughs and starts melting in the chair as Eunchae gives her the major side eye. She really does look a shoe
Yunjin dried her tears and sat up to focus “Eunchae, you saved her and don't you think you need to make new friends?” Yunjin says. “Ugh unnie” Eunchae whines “Why do you always bring up me not having many friends?” “I have enough, I don't need more.” Yunjin then looks serious and tilts her head “Eunchae most of your friends live in America so you don't see them often, please just go give them a chance after all” Yunjin pauses and smiles “you did save them”. Okay so maybe Yunjin wasn't EASY to convince but whatever.
“Okay” Eunchae says while getting up. Then Yunjin asks if Eunchae wanted to stay with her, Eunchae was grateful but she declined the offer. Yunjin then got up and patted the smaller girl's head “Have a good day then!”. “Thank you unnie, have a good one too”. Eunchae was truly grateful for Yunjin but sometimes she could be a pain in the butt.

Eunchae’s apartment
Eunchae immediately collapsed onto the bed ready to fall asleep though it was 6 o’clock. “What a day” Eunchae whispers to herself. She started closing her eyes when all of a sudden she remembered the note, so decided to get up fighting the tiredness, sticking out her hand she reached for her purse and grabbed the note. It was a bit crinkly but it was still in good condition. She then opened the paper

“Hm” Eunchae thought “that's an oddly weird number”. Something clicks inside of her “Oh, that's her number” Eunchae said as she grabbed her phone and sat on her bed. She types the number slowly on her phone making sure she got every number right. “Okay” she whispers to herself “That's right” A pause “I think”. She then added the number, all she needed to do was wait which didn't take long because Sullyoon texted back.

*02222022: This is Eunchae correct?
Manchae: Yes, and you are Sullyoon correct?
*02222022: Yes
Eunchae quickly went to change her name to Sullyoon. Then went back to texting her
*Manchae: So, is there a reason you gave me your phone number?
Sullyoon: Why would I give my phone number to a random stranger? There's obviously a reason lol
Manchae: Seriously quite bold for a person you literally never meant😔
Sullyoon: Right…so you know that girl Kyujin you helped? Well she is my sister so I truly appreciate what you did
Manchae: Oh really? That's cool, I knew I had to do something no one was helping and that just fueled my anger
Manchae: Is she okay?
*Sullyoon: Yes, actually about that, me and her want to invite you to a sushi restaurant, my treat.
Eunchae looks at the message “They want me to eat with them?” Eunchae scoffs “Why would I-” then her thought gets interrupted as she hears Yunjin echoing in her head “Eunchae most of your friends live in America so you don't see them often, please just go give them a chance after all you did save them”. Eunchae knew Yunjin was right and she really did need to make new friends but people often never actually wanted to be friends with her; they just became friends because she was beautiful. Which hurt Eunchae even more but maybe she should just take Yunjin's advice, which she did
*Sullyoon: Hello?
Manchae: Sorry, I was just doing something
Sullyoon: Okay! So are you going to accept or no, I'm not forcing you, we just met so I know it's hard to trust people.
Manchae: Yes I will be going, what time and place?
Sullyoon: Are you free tomorrow?
Manchae: Yeah are you free?
*Sullyoon: Obviously that's what I asked you💔. We will meet at SSERAFIM sushi bar at 8 o'clock, That fine with you?
“SSERAFIM?” Why does it sound oddly familiar, Eunchae then shakes her head and dismisses the thought. She was just CRAZY probably…
*Manchae: That's fine with me!
Sullyoon: Great! See you there
*Manchae: K
Eunchae places her phone on the nightstand next to her bed and lays down, "Tomorrow? I don't even have an outfit” Eunchae whispers as she brings her hand to rub her temple. That's tomorrow's problem. She brings her blanket up to her face bringing back the warmth. Eunchae then falls asleep a bit after.
