It was close to dawn and Subaru was rushing his way to the hospital. Just recently he heard news from Felix that his child was almost ready to be born so he was rushing to make it to the hospital from his job. It had only been 3 years since he and the love of his life had met and he was wondering how much good he must have done in a past life to be as blessed as he has been the past few years. Meeting the love of his life, making it big after going into business with Otto, and watching his parents retire old but happy and content with life. The only bad thing that could come from this would be the hospital bill when all was said and done but the bundle of joy that would be his world would make up for it. When he made it to the hospital he found his parents waiting for him. They told him how happy they were for him and that they know he will be an amazing father. As he thanked them they started moving to the delivery room. He wondered what traits the baby would take from his parents whether he would be peach like his dad or have his fathers sharp eyes. Subaru was shaking with anticipation at the possibilities. When Subaru and his parents finally made it to the delivery room they saw Felix standing over Sonic with a pale baby wrapped in cloth. As Subaru got closer he was able to see the baby’s features. He was pale with adorable elliptical black eyes and a face structure not as sharp as Subaru’s but not as subdued as Sonic’s. In Subaru’s eyes he was perfect as he took the baby from Felix he went over to show the baby to Sonic. It warmed Subaru’s heart seeing how happy Sonic was to hold their baby. They both spent weeks thinking of a good name to name their child after they learned Sonic was pregnant. They wanted something that would encompass both of them. So after a lot of deliberation they settled on Celeris. Celeris because like Subaru this name was related to the stars and like Sonic Celeris was known for his speed. However unlike his foal counterpart Celeris would not be tied to another yet just like the foal they two would shine brightly like the stars.
