Soft humming was heard from the kitchen as Shu walked into the house. Placing down a small bag before taking off his shoes. “Luca, I’m home.” He announced before seeing the blonde poke his head out from the kitchen. “Oh Shu! I was just finishing up lunch. Want some?” He asked. Shu nodded as he walked into the kitchen, hugging Luca from behind and burying his face into his neck. “I’m sorry I wasn’t here this morning.” He apologized into his neck.
Luca just shrugged, “it’s alright! I just figured you went out for errands.” He replied as he made Shu a sandwich similar to his, just with less stuff on it. Shu’s fingers rubbed his waist before pulling away. “Yeah. After we eat, I want to ask you something.” He said, leaning against the kitchen counter. Luca turned to his partner before tilting his head. “Why not now?” He asked curiously.
The ravenette smiled before grabbing his own plate. “Because I find your curious face cute.” He answered before walking to the couch. Luca followed after him with his own plate. “But I want to know now!” He complained as he sat down beside him. Shu took a bite of his sandwich, “This is good, my love.” He told Luca, ignoring his whines. Cheering up a little at the praise from his partner, he began eating as well.
They ate in silence, aside from the occasional noises Luca made. Shu finished his food first, placing the plate on the coffee table. “Thank you for making that for me.” Shu said. Luca looked up and nodded his head in reply, as he was mid bite. “Of course!” He finally replied once he swallowed his food. Shu leaned against Luca, who wrapped an arm around him. “So… can I know?” Luca asked after a few minutes of silence while he rubbed Shu’s arm.
Shu nodded, getting up and grabbing the bag. He placed it down in between them before looking up at Luca. “I was wanting to know if you’d let me put makeup on you.” Shu asked, before turning his head to rub the back of his neck. “Not saying you need it! I just thought, it’d be something fun to do.” He said, not looking at the mafia boss for a few seconds. Luca grabbed the bag and pulled out the contents. “I don’t mind… I don’t exactly know what all of this is.” He admitted, holding a tube of mascara. Shu watched as his boyfriend inspected all that he bought.
Shu adjusted himself on the couch as he stared at Luca, smiling to himself. “What the heck is this.” He whispered as he tried to figure out what it was. Shu took it from him, holding it up. “Mascara. It gives your eyelashes more length.” He told him, before handing it back to him. Luca hummed before looking through the bag some more. “So, when do you want to do this.” Shu asked, before seeing Luca’s head pop up. “Now.” The blonde said immediately. It caused the ravenette to freeze. “Now?” He asked, his boyfriend nodding his head. “Yes. Right now.”
Shu just smiled before standing up. “Okay.” He walked into the hallway. “Be right back.” He announced as he disappeared. Luca just hummed to himself before occupying himself with the makeup. Imagining Shu place it on him. The gentle touches while looking at him with that cute concentrated look he always has when doing something. Shu straddling his sides-
“I’m back.” Shu said before laughing softly to himself. “Your face is so red.” He said, placing down the hairbrush and Pompompurin headband down. “Ah, is it?” Luca asked, turning his head up at Shu with a sheepish look. “Very. I’m fine if you’re too embarrassed to do this.” Shu stated as he sat down beside him. “No!” Luca said a bit too quickly, tightly grabbing his partner’s arms. “I mean, I don’t mind it. I actually want you to.” He admits, loosening his grip. “I guess, I’m just excited?” Luca adds as Shu began reaching for the brush. “I see.” He let the brush run itself through Luca’s hair. “Thinking about me?” He asked his boyfriend, his fingertips grazing against his neck. Shivering at the touch, he stayed silent before finally letting out a quiet “yes.”
Shu didn’t say anything as he continued brushing his hair. Eventually grabbing the headband, pushing it down over his head. He pulled out the hair caught under the headband before bringing it back up to keep his hair out of his face. Luca finally turned towards Shu. He watched as his partner grabbed an eyeshadow pallet. “What color?” He asked, holding it out for his boyfriend to see. Luca scanned the colors. They weren’t the typical nude colors, but they weren’t bright fun colors either. More of a pastel tone.
“Purple.” He said, pointing to the shade he wanted. Shu picked up a brush, lightly brushing it over the color. Tapping the brush before holding it up. “Eyes closed.” Shu said, Luca did what he was asked. Shu applied it onto his eyelids, a comfortable silence surrounding them. Luca bit the bottom of his lip, feeling Shu’s breath go on his face. His hands gripped his shorts as he kept his eyes closed. Just do it. Grab his waist. Shu has never minded if you do anything. His own inner thoughts got cut short when he felt Shu sit in his lap and straddle his sides. His hands immediately went to his hips to support his partner. “It’s easier than hovering over you.” Shu said, in a quiet tone. Almost like he was telling himself rather than Luca to justify his actions.
Luca just smiled softly as his thumb rubbed a gentle circle into his hip. “Valid reason.” He answered, hearing Shu hum as he moved onto the next eye. They both sat in silence as Shu moved onto different products. Mascara, blush, eyeliner. They finally moved onto lipstick. Shu took off the cap and turned it at the bottom. The soft pink stick rose a bit before he moved the lipstick towards his lips. Luca watched him apply it to his lips. It was an odd texture. Almost like a sticky feeling that wasn’t too terrible.
“Do this.” Shu said, moving his lips together as a demonstration for Luca to do. He did what he asked. Doing a little lip pop at the end which made Shu grin at the noise. “That’s a pretty color on you.” He said as he looked at the stick. “Thank you.” Luca said before hugging his waist. “I’m sure it’d look good on you.” He mumbled into his chest. Shu just chuckled. “I’m not too sure. I think this shade is a little too light-“ His sentence got cut off as Luca pressed a gentle kiss to his lips. Shu froze for a second before returning the kiss. They stayed like that for a few seconds before Luca pulled back. “See?” He said, pushing his partners bangs back. “It does look good on you.” He stated, rubbing his finger under his bottom lip to get rid of the escaped lipstick. Shu stayed quiet before humming. “I suppose I’ll believe you.” He said with a smile before going in for another kiss.
