Work Text:

"What's this?"

Butler said as he tore open a letter addressed to him.

In it was a letter addressed to him and a official looking documents written in Gnomish.

It was found on top of Artemis's desk.

No postman came around recently, he checked the security.

It was as if the letter just appeared out of thin air.

Magically appeared, he snorted.

I really gotta up the security around here, he thought.

"You've got to be kidding me."

Butler scoffed as he read the letter.

"500 Euro?

"And for what?"

"Could be the gnome we persuade to relinquish his ownership of some LEP tech he found." Artemis calmly said over the phone.

"No."

Butler said curtly. He handled the transaction himself there were no screwup.

Gotta be something. else something bug.

"Could be troll trouble," suggested Artemis.,

"Troll, Sir?" Butler asked, his brow raised high, curious about Artemis's response.

Certainly Butler has twisted a couple of internet trolls for smearing his charge's good name but he doubts the people care.

"You know the one you manhandle. Just flip over the ticket, I am sure someone in LEP included an English version, at least I am sure Foaly would," Artemis said.

Butler did so.

"Ughh."

"Its really about troll. They for real Arty."

Butler exclaimed.

"But they're the ones who sent it."

"Yup." Artemis simply said.

"Now they want me to pay them for nursing the troll they sent?" Butler said, with veins almost popping.

"Yup."

"Well if they think I'm going to pay, they're mistaken," Butler said.

"I'm going to call Mulch, he must know some good lawyer."

“Forget about it."

"Just pay it, Butler,” Artemis said.

“But why?” Butler asked. He thought Artemis would be eager to fight the fine. He can afford it bit he knows Artemis don't like to take things down.

“Because, apparently, we are no longer criminals, merely entrepreneurs of lost items.” Artemis simply said.
