Chapter Text
PART TWO
LAYLA
an amnesiac teenage girl who’s past is so blurry and fuzzy she can only remember spotless, white rooms; bright, flickering fluorescent lights; and pain. Endless pain. She can barely remember her name, only just about coming back into herself with the help of her adoptive mother. Stephanie does little to erase the echoes of hands holding Layla down and murmured voices discussing her fate. Nor can the woman help the young girl escape the memories of a sceptre that changed her life.
