It's been four years since the attack on TAHE, four years since Noah arcus sacrificed his life to stop Tarsa once and for all, he was celebrated as a hero.
Four years…that's all the now twenty year old Naseko Kuznet could think about, Noah was one of her closest friends and he was her first love, the love of her life.
It was late at night and Naseko couldn't sleep, everytime she closed her eyes she saw the charred remains that she saw that horrible day.
“You okay kid?”
Naseko looked over to the large tank in her room that Nitro was kept in overnight.
“Not really friend Nitro”
Nitro’s one orange eye looked at the young woman intently “i miss him too, i know me and him bickered a lot but he was closest friend i ever had, he was great guy, he wouldn't want you hurting from this, you know that”
Naseko stifled an uncharacteristic sob “if he didn't want me to hurt why did he get himself killed”
Nitro sighed “yeah not even i understand why he did it but he did and he saved us all, i think the best thing for you to do is go to Chester and Kiko’s room to see if they're awake”
Naseko shook her head “i do not want to bother them with my problems, it would be selfish”
Nitro let out a mechanical growl “whats selfish is that your keeping it all to yourself, you think you're the only one hurting from it?, chester kiko alsaya, skylar they all miss him but you refuse to heal with them, so get your butt off this bed and walk to your partners room and talk to them NOW”
Naseko often forgets that she was in fact in a relationship with Kiko and Chester, on these days Naseko often felt disconnected from everyone else, even more than she did before she met Noah.
But Naseko couldn't help but listen to the bio-mech, she wrapped herself in blanket and left her bedroom and walked down the hallway, kiko had moved in with chester and kiko a year after the incident, she at first didn't want ti but Vasilia had told her it was for the best.
Naseko walked down the hallway and got to a purple painted door, she took a deep breath in and then knocked on it.
The door opened, and Kiko was standing in the doorway wearing nothing but a really oversized shirt, she smiled softly at the bug obsessed girl “cant sleep?”
Naseko nodded, Kiko took Seko’s hand and gently led her to the bed, Chester was also awake but was laying down.
Chester smiled “evening bug…guessing you cant sleep either”
Naseko nodded, Kiko giggled a little “yeah neither can me n Kitty, want to join the cuddle?”
Naseko nodded “I would very much like that…I am going to be honest every time I close my eyes…I see him”
Kiko climbed into bed and then gestured for Seko to climb in too.
The bug girl did so and wrapped her arms around Kiko and started to tear up.
Kiko patted her girlfriend on the back “shhh it's okay seko, we miss him too, but he’d want us to be happy yeah?”
Seko nodded “he was always making sure everyone else around him was happy before he made sure he himself was happy”
Chester chuckled “yeah that dumbass always was too kind for his own good…i never actually got to apologize for our first break up and i guess i never will get that chance”
Chester wiped away his tears with his sleeve "no use to dwell on it, it's been four years he would have wanted us to move on, live our lives to the fullest…”
Kiko nodded “look he was a mess in all honesty but he was our mess, but chester is completely right he'd want us to keep going, and not lose sleep over what happened”
Kiko then pulled Naseko to the middle of the bed, Chester’s tail wrapped around both Naseko and kiko, at that moment Naseko was finally able to sleep.
And it was the best sleep all three of them had in while.
