Davos liked his flatmates a lot. Sure, they were a strange bunch, but they were worse traits to have. He and Marya had already known each other, and he counted himself lucky to have found fast friends in the others. Well, he got on less well with Melisandre, but he didn’t mind living with her. They just disagreed, on most things.
Stannis was intense, but Davos really liked him. He could imagine that others might not want to live with the man, but personally he was very happy with the arrangement. Stannis was tidy, and efficient. Selyse was similar to Stannis, in many ways. They had a shared kind of seriousness.
