Backstory: Seraphina was born with pyrokenesis, the ability to control, generate and manipulate fire. She was born in Hawkins National Laboratory as the child of two experiments from MKUltra. Once she was born, she was taken by Dr Brenner and made experiment number 6. From then on, he tried to force her to control her powers, but she would lash out more at his forceful methods and end up setting several rooms ablaze, killing scientists. The parents, worried about the emotional toll it would have on her, took her and escaped to Georgia, where they spent a good portion of their lives. They had another kid, Raine, who was without powers. Because Seraphina was so young, she managed to lock most of her bad memories away in her mind and only gets the occasional nightmare that she could’t remember once she wakes up. She also, hence forgot how to use her ability, but whenever she gets extremely angry or sad, her powers shine through. One night though, when she was eight, they got into a car crash, with her parents and her sister going missing. Seraphina remained mostly unscathed, but after her parents couldn’t be found by local police, they were presumed dead. Soon after, she was enrolled into foster care. After a year of being fostered by several different families, one family finally fostered and ended up adopting her when she was 13. It wasn't long after that that her new parents decided to move to a new little town called Hawkins for a fresh start. Seraphina heavily opposed this because she saw it as her losing her only chance to find her parents. However, there was nothing she could do. No amount of kicking and screaming could stop her new family from moving. Since that day, she has tried to settle into Hawkins. She went to school, didn't bother trying to make new friends, and even considered joining an art club that sort of peaked her interests(but she backed down). In her free time, she spends hours researching and trying to find her parents and sister, but the only thing she had found were dead-ends. It was now her Junior year, meaning another year of trying and failing to find her family.
