Chapter Text
His room was dark. Dark, as though, the pit in his heart. The longing, he had hidden from himself and others.
He didn’t like to admit this at all, not to his “perfect” self, not to his friends, or not to anyone else. He, was entirely lonely.
He didn’t know how to explain it. He simply had a constant dread of heavily loneliness hung on him. No matter how much he talks to himself, lies to himself or “tries” to talk to his children, he still felt lonely.
There was no one to comfort William. No one ever wanted to comfort William. William was used to this, however. But what he still, tries to understand is why people avoid such a perfect person like William.
Well, for one, he discovered immortality!
-With a cost.
And, was a great magician in the 70s?
-No one cared.
He was a successful business man!
-As successful as he may be, he has no success in building a relationship with his kids.
William let out a loud, painful whine. This isn’t fair! Why does Henry have to have it all, Henry’s a dimwit! William, on the other hand, is a perfect gift from the heavens. William is absolutely perfect. He is smart, handsome, charming-
He has no actual friends.
He could not, see friendship in anyone. Maybe his wife is an exception, but is Nicole even alive? Probably not. William doesn’t care.
The most important care to William however, was himself! The beautiful Spring Bonnie, the charming business man Afton, and the fall-fest magical magican William. All perfect personas.
William cannot handle this. He needs to figure out why, why people hate him? Why is he so lonely? This isn’t fair. William invented a cure to death, but no, some stupid fat fuck Henry gets praise for being some “family guy” as if he gave enough shits that his daughter got run over.
Whatever. William could live. But why would he live under someone’s shadow? Is he that pathetic to make his own?
No. He is a coward.
Simple as that. William Afton is a pathetic coward.
False! He is a amazing hero, spawned from all grace to bless this earth with his incredible intellect!
But even then, William knew all of his thoughts are lies, and all he could think about was how much he longed for someone, ever since the youngest days of his life, he longed for close friendship.
