Snow falls on their home in Korea. Her name also means Snow. She knows it in many languages, but tonight she calls herself Xu’er as her husband tends the fire, so the chill outside doesn’t invade the little space they have managed to create for themselves, a home after they’ve lost everything. Kuro’s accursed honor is the reason she loves him so well; it also nearly tore them apart forever. But she does not begrudge her fox his nature. She reclines on the sofa, watching Kuro stoke the flames. This is a place to rest while they walk the path.
