Valerie was sent on a mission, to recover the kidnapped D.T.T employees, she heads up the Millennium Tower elevators, her mind racing at who could possibly be up there.
After a couple minutes, she arrives on the 50th floor. Stepping cautiously out of the elevator, she looks around, seeing nothing of particular note, which calms her nerves somewhat. Valerie starts to move up the stairs, with the first thing of note being on floor 55, the mauled body of one of the employees. Steeling her nerves, Valerie kneels down, checking the body for a pulse. The employee’s body feels cold to the touch, Valerie pulls her hand away, looking a bit shocked from seeing the body. She keeps moving through the tower
Eventually, Valerie makes it to the roof of the tower. On it, she sees a man in a bear costume eating a wounded employee, who’s screaming violently.
“Hey, step away from him!” Valerie calls out, which causes the person to look over. It’s Bill the Bear, the mascot of Wilford’s Woods. From what it seems, he’s upset his meal was interrupted, and runs at Valerie, unleashing a right hook that Valerie is just barely able to dodge.
Valerie takes up a defensive stance, knowing she’ll have to fight off Bill.
Bill takes a few steps forward, throwing a quick jab at Valerie, she manages to block the strike, before swinging herself, hitting Bill’s mascot costume in the jaw, the strike not making him flinch at all, which surprises Valerie. She takes a quick leap backwards, trying to plan her next move.
Bill takes a dive at Valerie, who attempts to dodge, but gets hit, Bill grabs the collar of her shirt with one hand, starting to beat her with his free hand. Valerie starts trying to push him off, her legs being pinned underneath Bill.
A particularly strong punch shatters Valerie’s glasses, with a shard of particularly sharp looking glass landing in her hand. She tightens her grip around it, before driving it into Bill’s side. Bill staggers back in pain, giving Valerie enough room to kick him back, allowing full range of movement. Valerie gets up, before rushing at Bill. During this, Bill gets onto hos feet as well, taking up a defensive stance.
Valerie and Bill come within punching distance of each other, and they both start to exchange violent blows, Bill hitting Valerie with multiple brute force punches to the skull, and Valerie hitting Bill’s throat and stomach, before moving up to head punches, as well. After a good few blows, Bill drops to the ground, leaving a heavily beaten Valerie standing, just barely. She lets out a shaky breath she didn’t know she was holding, before staggering over to the employee who Bill was attacking earlier, her movement heavily staggered. Valerie lifts the employee up, supporting them over her shoulder, as she takes out her phone to call Vanessa.
“It’s… done, they’re safe” Valerie pants out, as she brings the wounded employee to the elevator.
