Stephanie paced back and forth in her bathroom. On her dresser sat a line of six pregnancy tests.
All positive.
She had no idea what she was going to do. She had to tell Jason. Just as she thought that, he let himself into her apartment.
“Hey Steph. You said you needed to speak to me?”
“I did. Um, I’m just gonna show you.” Gesturing to the dresser, she watched Jason as he came in and looked at them.
“We’re having a baby?” He asked. “If you want to keep the baby, I’m all in, but, if you don’t, I’m there for you and will take you down to Planned Parenthood if needed.”
“I’ve been thinking about it since I found out this morning. My last baby I had to give up and I can’t do that again. I love you, Jay, and I want this baby with you, but only if you want the baby too.”
“I do want this more than anything.”
Jason’s arms wrapped around her and held her close. Breathing in the unique scent that was Jason, Steph closed her eyes as a smile tugged at the corners of her mouth.
They were having a baby.
