Jon was the keeper of the dead, these days. His solitary domain was that of graves and crypts. He saw far more of the dead than the living, though his siblings visited where they could. He saw the most of Arya, drifter as she was, and the least of Robb, busy with Winterfell.
There was a strange kind of peace, in his work. Away from a busy, desperate world, but important all the same. People trusted him with their dearly beloved dead, and he worked hard to ensure he maintained that reputation. No matter their birth, the dead deserved respect.
