“hey guys,” shiho announced to nobody in particular, “let’s give it our best!”
suddenly, a swarm of voices was heard in the distance, startling shiho. she turned around, and in the distance she spotted a young boy wearing a red t-shirt no older than 11, pointing at her.
“guys SHE SAID THE THING.” the young boy was turning around, shooting quick glances at her as she looked around, visibly confused. “guys cmon SHE SAID THE THING!!!! YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO GUYS!!!”
“uhh what do we do” some teenage boy wearing a white fedora cowboy hat thing asked.
“bro cappy we went over this!! when someone says the thing we all have to jump them!”
“WHAT”
“YOU HEARD ME!”
suddenly the young boy seemed to summon a lantern from the GROUND and ran toward her at mach 10, followed by the teenage boy riding a gray block, a yellow-skinned person with a magenta shirt and green pants wielding a sword, a girl with a purple tophat and a katana, an older boy with a plaid shirt and hammer, and five eldritch horrors running at her: a tree thing, a monochromatic thing, a tall black spasming humanoid, a flower thing with a flower arm, and a thing that seemed to be consisted of many other things holding a hammer.
“WHAT WHO ARE YOU GUYS ???” shiho screamed in astonishment.
“so its basically our job to run to people whenever they make a give me your best reference” the girl with the katana replied in a very calm demeanor. “im purplesub who are you”
“uhhm..” shiho looked very shaken. maybe it was because she witnessed like ten things running at her at mach 10 maybe idk just a hunch. maybe it was because the flower hand guy was staring at her like she owed money to them
“and you made a give me your best reference so we ran at you” the guy wearing a magenta shirt said as if it was something simple. “a lot of people make them every day its very hard work running to them you know”
“yeah my legs get a real workout because of that” the plaid shirt boy said, scratching the back of his head
“oh, oh wow.” shiho still didnt seem to understand. “whats give me your best”
“ooh boy you are in for a treat” the white fedora boy started grinning >:)

geometry squared proceeded to absolutely maul the bassist to shreds. the end. shiho still doesnt get how awesome a give me your best reference is because give me your best is niche and nobody really knows it.
