Mass Effect Odyssey is my original fan comic! It's an adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey, retold in the Mass Effect Universe and following Kaidan's journey back to Earth after the Reapers are destroyed.
I'm sticking as closely as possible to both canons, but you definitely don't need to know anything about the Odyssey to understand and enjoy the story!
This is Book 1, which follows Book 1 of Homer's The Odyssey.
Written and Illustrated by AllieN7 / wardencommandershepard on Tumblr.
THANK YOU to:
- GibleMayBite for helping massively with story development.
- LiskaDe for encouraging me to get started now, instead of waiting to be a better artist.
- chalkituptofate for beta reading the script. This wouldn't have happened without you!!
(See the end of the work for more notes.)
Tell me about a complicated man.
Muse, tell me how he wandered and was lost...where he went, and who he met, the pain he suffered...
tell the old story for our modern times.
Find the beginning.- The Odyssey, Homer
