It was finally the weekend! The week had been dragging on forever with multitasking multiple assignments. You were exhausted, stressed and burntout by now. You glanced at the clock on the night stand next to your bed that read 9:45am.You rolled over to the opposite side to feel the sheets cold. Where had your boyfriend gone? It's a saturday!
Your stomach grumbled. Time for breakfast.
As you made your way to the kitchen you saw Kunikuzushi standing by the stove frying some eggs in a pan.
"Kuniii" You yawned, "Come back to bed and cuddle with me...it's weekend."
Kunikuzushi felt your arms wrap around his waist from behind. "Good morning to you too, sleep well?"
You grumbled in response and Kunikuzushi only rolled his eyes. "No then?"
After 30 minutes Kunikuzushi started dishing the food he made while you went to shower to freshen up. Kunikuzushi put down two plates of scrambled eggs, bacon and toast on the table and made some tea for the two of you aswell. As if on que you walked in and your stomach made itself known by grumbling and your boyfriend gave you an amused look while you gave him a half hearted glare and sat down to eat. Lifting up your utensils you began to dig in.
"This is so good Kuni!"
"Don't speak with your mouth full."
Kunikuzushi's gaze softened as he watched you eat up the food.
"Stop staring at me it's creepy"
Kunikuzushi's indigo eyes widened in annoyance. "Are you calling me creepy for admiring what's mine?"
You grinned at him, "Maybe? You're staring at me while I eat of all things!"
"Tsk, you're ridiculous. I make you food and this is the thanks I get? Can't even look at my own lover." Kunikuzushi rests his chin on his hand as he huffs.
You roll your eyes and finish up the food, helping your boyfriend with the dishes once youre both fed.
"What are we doing today? Any plans?" You ask, packing away the dishes Kunikuzushi washed up and put on the drying rack.
"Nothing, I don't have plans. Do you?" He replied and you shook your head and replied, "Besides assignments I have to work on I've got nothing planned either." You reply.
"Let's cuddle on the couch!" You dragged your boyfriend by his wrist to the couch and pushed him down onto his back while you climbed on top of him grinning like a sly fox and he just rolled his eyes in response.
Immediately you started peppering his face in kisses. Starting with his forehead then moving towards each of his eyebrows then his cheeks and jaw, heck even the corners of his mouth deliberately avoiding kissing him properly which earned a grumble from your boyfriend.
"Sunshine-!" He started but you interrupted him by kissing along his neck and his face reddened. You felt extra affectionate today and seeing his cute grumpy scowl gave you cuteness aggression. You couldn't resist spoiling your very pretty boyfriend with affection!
"I love you to the moon and back you know?" You smiled at him fondly and the indigo haired man could only blush in response.
Kunikuzushi kissed your cheek, "You're such a handful...love you too." He mumbled the last part.
The two of you stayed on the couch cuddled up exchanging sweet kisses all over eachothers faces and neck like lovesick idiots. Eventually the kissing stopped and you were just laying on top of your boyfriend while he combed his fingers through your hair. This is nice. This feels nice. Having someone to hold onto after a long and difficult week. Just basking in eachother's presence. You turned your head to look at your boyfriend. His eyes were on the tv that is playing softly. You tilt your head up to kiss his jaw which earned a surprised noise from Kunikuzushi.
"You've still got kisses left? I thought you were finished kissing me silly?" He grinned and kissed the crown of your head.
"No, I don't think I ever will be finished kissing you silly." Your eyes met his with a gentle smile and he could only smile at you back. "I love you so much, did you know that?" You said reaching to play with his hair.
"You make it very obvious." He grins and kisses your cheek. "My pretty girl."
"You're so cheesy sometimes." You giggle and cuddle closer.
Kunikuzushi hums in response and continues to run his fingers through your hair. You feel so loved by him and it makes your heart flutter. Sometimes you wonder how you had won him over. He is the best boyfriend to you and you wouldn't have it any other way.
"Kuni?"
"Yes, Doll?"
You blushed at the petname and drew circles on his arm that was still wrapped around you. "Do you think...maybe in another life that we're together?"
Kunikuzushi thinks for a moment before turning his gaze back to his lover and grins. "Of course we are, why wouldn't we be?"
You give him a content smile and snuggled closer to him. "In that case, I'll make it my mission to find you in every life time!"
Kunikuzushi rolls his eyes in amusement and kisses your forehead and you two continue to cuddle up on the couch comfortably in eachother's presence for the rest of the day.
