Therapist: so tell me about your childhood. What was your relationship with your parents like?
Molly O'Brien: Oh they've always been very loving and supportive! There was one time my dad yelled at me when I was little but he had just got out of 20 years of mind prison.
T: Mind prison?
M: yeah he was only actually there for a few hours but he experienced 20 years of torture.
T: *taking notes* uh huh...but other than that would you say you had a happy childhood?
M: oh yeah! Well there was the time my dad was replaced by a clone. And the time a Bajoran demon possessed my mom and tried to kill her. Oh and the time my dad was possessed by an alien and held my mom and me hostage but I was just a baby then; I don't remember any of it.
T: ...
M: and my mom did get in a bad shuttle accident and they had to transplant my unborn baby brother to my Aunt Nerys. She came to live with us for a while, that was fun! But then our quarters got completely blown up when an old enemy of hers tried to assassinate her.
T: wow, I'm sorry?
M: and then there was the war...
