Patterns are the key to learning any language. Figure out the arrangement of nouns, pronouns, verbs, articles, prepositions, adjectives, and adverbs. Separate dependent and independent clauses, then parse phrases until they make sense. 

Conquest is a language.

And the pattern is dumb captains who talk and talk and talk … telling everything she wants to know, yet not realizing the arrangement of her legs spread open is so she can parse her path to the only word that matters: “Empress.”
