Chapter 1
I rush out of school, excited to finally be free.
I smile.
"Oh the sweet taste of freedom!"
My best friend rushes up behind me.
"Hannah, don't be weird!"
She's laughing.
I grin at her.
"Who's being weird?"
I say, putting a hand on my chin and raising an eyebrow.
She spits out water.
I smile.
"Hang this weekend?"
"Always."
I pull out a movie ticket from my backpack.
"Juuuust as soon as I go see... Drumroll please?"
She doesn't move.
I sigh.
"You're no fun!"
I slap my knees with my hands.
"Spiderman no way home!!"
She sighs.
"You're obsessed!"
"Am not!"
She puts her hands on her hips.
"Try to deny it!"
"Ok Faith. Lay it out for me."
Faith begins.
"You have at least 5 posters on your wall, you're always talking about Spiderman, and the Avengers, and all these obscure characters..."
I bite my lip.
"Point taken."
My mom pulls up.
"That's me. Byeee bestie!"
